The weapons the Taliban captured from the United States may not represent an international threat, but they could give the group more ways to control the Afghan population. Read more: wapo.st/2Vg4kSp. Subscribe to The Washington Post on KZbin: wapo.st/2QOdcqK

And the "maintenance" has more to do with the military industrial complex securing their own profits. If the vehicle dosent need maintenance, then how do they keep making money once they're all ordered? But it's all scheduled maintenance. How exactly does a helicopter "break down"? They don't lol. There is no redundancy in a heli. If it "breaks down" you die. Period. So the guy is straight up lying. And we have multiple heli pilots in the family.

@Mr. Chill You know, psychological studies have shown that people who resort to insulting other people have lower iqs because they can't think of anything more creative to say. To answer your question. The weapons were left there by Biden's administration who had months to do something about it and did nothing. To say "captured" implies you take something by force, this was not the case. The weapons were left behind. Also, Which time are you referring to? Biden's administration is responsible for 5,000 isis prisoners being set free in afghanistan, as well as the fall of afghanistan itself. Trump's deal fell through months ago when the taliban disregarded it. The original deal hinged on 2 core factors, 1. The Afghan government and Taliban come to a peace, never happened. 2. if the Taliban increased aggression against the Afghan government the U.S did not need to withdraw. It cost us 45 billion a year to maintain our base and pay their military, the U.S hadnt taken a casualty since February 2020, over 18 months. We had nothing to lose by staying and everything to gain. 2,500 troops vs the 30,000 we have in Okinawa, is alot easier to manage and maintain. Secondly, we achieved relative peace and stability in a region which has over 10 U.S recognized terrorist organizations, the highest concentration of any in the world. 3. We gain a strategic advantage over China, Russia, Iran and Pakistan. Instead Biden ruins it all for an emotional "bring the troops home" slogan. This was not Trump's fault, Trump had a plan in place to evacuate U.S civilians if Afghanistan were going to fall, provided infrastructure and everything. Blinken scrapped that plan back in June. Trump is responsible for ISIS prisoners being freed in Syria, and for withdrawing leaving our kurdish allies behind, as well as Africa. But This is solely on Biden, and his administration. He even ignored his own generals, and his own intelligence agencies who told everyone for over a year (starting last may) that if we leave afghanistan will fall into the hands of the Taliban.

@Mr. Chill That's making alot of assumptions about me. Trump wanted to pull out last year but kept delaying because the conditions on the ground weren't right. and as the Taliban were violating the deal under Trump Trump applied more pressure on them with increased airstrikes, etc. I don't agree with what Trump did in leaving afghanistan, we could maintain a base there. The attacks on U.S troops stopped for 18 months. We keep troops all around the world on over 800 bases, we could afford to maintain a base in a strategically vital area like afghanistan. It's kind of funny, trump wanted to leave afghanistan so he can focus on China, yet Afghanistan shares a border with China. So my policy would have been to keep the U.S troops there, keep providing air support for the ANA, they weren't really competent soldiers but our aistrikes evened the odds.

Not a mistake. The Marxists in the Democratic Party want to take down (fundamentally transform) America. The likes of Susan Rice are at the helm and used Biden to destroy credibility with our allies and embolden our enemies. Now that foreign policy is in shambles they can turn to domestic issue and eradicate patriotism.
@jakerittlinger440
@jakerittlinger440 2 жыл бұрын
@@paulwright1635 you are a little closer, but this isn't it exactly. The fundamentally transform/takedown is worldwide and not just a problem in the US. The Dems vs. Reps divide in the country has just been been a decades-long narrative to make it easier to take us over, as well as have it sound crazy for anybody who would point out the actual truth. 9/11 was an inside job, and there is plenty of evidence to support this. That false flag was the excuse to get our military in Afghanistan for 20 years and the end result: outfit the Taliban quite handsomely. If this was just a US problem, enough countries around the world, be they allies or not, would work together to prevent a world empire, as was the case in WWII. But if you look at the world leaders - at best buying into the narrative that these vaccines and series of boosters work or at worst are taking their orders from higher up - creating tyranny for the people they were elected to represent, then it becomes clear just how compromised all our societies have become. This is all by design.

“ captured” is certainly a misnomer in this context, we walked away and left it all intact, I would put it no higher than “ found”. The fact we left all those weapons and supplies leads me to believe it was part of the exit strategy, ie: “ if you don’t attack as we leave, we will let you keep all the equipment we have there”. Which, of course they didn’t honor as it was a weak move to begin with. Now this administration has cost more lives, abandoned civilians, after assuring us they wouldn’t, AND armed the taliban with superior weapons and uniforms. This WEAK, WOKE administration will cost MORE lives and freedoms than any before if they aren’t stopped. Which is , of course, the plan.
