Lyrics:
I sleep in the mouth
of some kind of creature of our time
and wild as it goes
I give up my body
and hereʼs my mind
to love and beyond
to love and to tumble in its light
like a dream engineer
I built like a fool, now live like one
and I just spoke of engines of some lost forever
of lonesome fears
the feeling of one
ending up to find
Iʼm just some blind believer
you spelling out
Iʼm not the one
Iʼm just a little unprepared
the end has just begun
but then empty I find
Iʼm suddenly open to the land
and reckless it grows
so bring me some reckless times again
where I can speak of engines of some lost forever
of lonesome fears
the feeling of one
just to end up feeling like
some blind believer
you calling out
Iʼm not the one
I was a little unprepared
but time has just begun
what if nature is just numbers
you and I repetition
are we free or just brought out again?
I will get through these days
give me the spring and some summer
but then, do you think of me?
thatʼs me in your sight
I go through the motions of some life
itʼs wild, yes I know
I carry my body
sing some lines
so I can be the ghost of some now lost forever
of lonesome fears
the feeling of one
ending up to find weʼre just
some wild beginners
just trying out
am I the one?
I guess for some things we prepared
but the rest has just begun
what if nature is just numbers
you and I repetition
are we free or just brought out again
I will get through these days
give me the spring and some summer
and then, will I still think of you,
all the time?

I genuinely feel closer to him than any other artist I listen to. These little videos are so intimate and humanizing. It’s easy to see artist as the elevated figures in society but I love how relatable he is.

Clever editing there at 07:26, there's no hint in the audio of a new take. Was it in reference to the lyrics talking about "repetition" or am I overthinking? :)

2017-2018 TTMOE is blowing me away by way of his little pieces of melody. These episodes now have me so stuck on certain lines and I think it’s because pieces of melodies fit perfectly both with the vowel sounds and with the chord changes. E.g. this song’s “what if nature is just numbers”; Fly in Numbers : “the country bird where kingdom rise”; Same Ghost: “deep in the lines of our summer”, etc. My day (and the next day) just totally changes from these little moments that I end up scrolling back and playing over and over again. I mean, really it’s always been this way for me with TTMOE but it’s like these moments are really clicking since these recent projects started.

There are days that I look back to the day I saw you live for the first time, and how afterwards, there I was, giddy like a child with cotton candy, waiting for you to appear from backstage to meet with your fans. You were jet-lagged having flown in from Sweden to Singapore and it was evident from your eyes when you finally came out just as dusk was taking over the weather. There were others in front of me, and they got your attention first. They got your "How are you?'s before me and I didn't mind it because from countless videos, to mere metres away on the stage, to finally in person. You were real, and still very is. I prepared mental notes on what to tell you in the brief moment if I were to meet you, but they all went away. And all I could say was something typical and unforgettable to the least. But then, you wished me all the best, in my musical career as a singer-songwriter from Malaysia. And, that gave me courage and led me to finally finishing a record. And that has kept me jumping over amps over and over again. Hope to catch you again soon around Asia or just anywhere really. Perhaps soon.

Also, thank you Kristian, for articulating so wholely feelings I never quite could. You're a not just a musician, but a magician, and I pray one day that you visit Newcastle in England and play The Sage, Gateshead. I watched you in Manchester in one cold October and it'll stay with me forever - a very long time. Never stop doing what you do. Peace and love man.

... men din sång? Din melodi? Din hela låt? En oerhört musikalisk människa och din musik är så nära fulländad man kan komma!
