I remember seeing Kirt Talley in a small concert years ago. He was on his own without a tour bus to keep his suits wrinkle free. What a sight in his white crumpled outfit! But singing was wonderful. This is one my favorites.

Kirk has one heck of a voice! He can hit those high notes that choke me (when I sing along--- Just be glad no one hears me!). I have heard him sing many times, but, when I first heard him sing, "Joy on the Other Side of Jordan", I fell totally in love with his voice! I had heard the song a long time ago, but, had forgotten it! Hearing it again after so long a time, I almost flipped when I heard him sing! So, I proceded to buy one of his CD'S!

As the sun is setting, and tearing up while listening to the song. I'm very thankful to God. The world is in chaos, but God is till faithful and good because He's still in control. For all the ways He worked behind the scenes, unknown to me, moments when heaven-sent angels moved on my behalf in ways I'll never know, I thank Thee thank you for the beautiful song❤

Some groups actually make bring attention to the fact that "There's always gotta be the one who sounds like a woman" when introducing the members, and that's tenor singers for ya. I actually thought at one point (I think it was 2004 or 2005) that the tenor for Gold City (album was First Class, we had it on CD and I enjoyed it even then) was a woman.

Truth Speaker Sodomy is sin? So that means all straight people who engage in sodomy are equally sinners - WAIT! The bible says "FOR ALL HAVE SINNED..." hummmmm. If the bible & it's rules never change, where the heck are my concubines & many wives? Where are our slaves? Those are mandated by the bible you know. There are so many rules in the Bible that are considered "illegal" in today's standards as they should be. "Truth speaker" needs to grow up & be realistic. God loves us all. I'm wondering if you have the capacity to understand these statements & concepts presented. I'll pray for you.
@mosichat8 жыл бұрын
Truth Speaker - and if marriage were so important then why didn't Jesus get married & more so.... why didn't Jesus say ANYTHING about homosexuality when he was on earth? Also, slavery was advocated and supported throughout the NEW testament buddy. Anyway.... still praying for you.

persons love God and Jesus but they struggle in sin; formication, adultery, lying, abuser, homosexual ect. however, when u have accepted God, Jesus as ur personal saviour u are able to recognize how fallen the human race is and is able to call sin by it's right name. hence , repentance, renewal and reformation. your life, thoughts and actions are different. ur sins which u recognize becomes less each day becuz u want to do God's will.
