"there is nothing new under the sun" God is in charge, we praise him and trust Him. He takes care of us and our earth. When I get overwhelmed at all the evil in the world, I stop living in the love of God, which I am commanded to do. Its hard to love they neighbor if your terrified of him or think he is evil. Even if he is, will he be the one to find Jesus, because he saw Gods love manifested in my life? My family is from Kentucky also Mary, God bless and keep you!

I LOVE this music and I don’t believe in your religion/god(s), thus I am ZERO threat to your classic American traditions and music. THIS is what makes America great, not some racist bs. THIS! Music and creativity that’s born of the American experience, be it religious, secular, or “Satanic” (as with Metal music, which I love AS WELL). I want to know why you think you are being “replaced” and why you won’t accept the simple fact that great Music & Art is what defines US, the American people, no matter what we look like, what god we worship, or whether we don’t believe in superstitious nonsense like Christianity anymore. Up to the 80s it was much more common to really SING together - as 'ordinary' Christians, not musicians. Meanwhile, we are so spoiled with the continuous provision of recordings and 24/7 availability online, that private singing has mostly been reduced to church gatherings - if not even there a (semi-)professional worship band has taken over that as well. It's a big loss for the body of Christ to not sing any more together in private settings, IMHO

Hey Dennis, I'm only 73. My college training was Opera. But my original training was in church singing these same old gospel hymns. In the church of Christ we sing acapella. It got rather comical in several of the college music classes, for I could only read shape notes and it was far easier for me to learn the music by "ear" rather than trying to read the music. My dad came to one of our Opera performances and was noticeably upset with the music. He said, "That ain't Grand Ole Opery"! Nothing sweeter than acapella 4-part harmony with obbligato.

There never was a lord Jesus. Because a bible book says he existed does not mean that it is true. Gospels are not about the life of a son of God in the first place. It is already been a proven fact that this bloke is just representing the sun throughout the year of 12 month in the zodiac hence the 12 apostles. There was no crucifixion ( crucifiction yea) and resurrection does not exist nor ascension. Virgin birth and Nativity scene all from Osiris Isis and Horus ! Sayings from that dude J F C ((jesus fucking christ) came from OT time phillosophers and were never said by this son of a bitch (mary) . 3 kings / magi / astrologers ? LOL nope they represent teh 3 stars in the belt of orion.. Mary ? represent Virgo and bethlehem means house of bread.. A House means a zodiac sign hence Virgo who has a hand full of corn ! It is all code and the authors ( we do not even know who they were) knew it of course. Not only NT is astrotheology (yea even revelation is astrotheology) but the whole OT also. Who brainwashed you, parents, priest , teacher, evangelist, whicker ? Well this is info for all yoiu deluded jesus freaks on this page. Do some study on the origin of your false belief. I was raised up with bluegrass gospel music, Earl flat and Lester shrugs Were my family's friends, everybody played piano mandolin or the guitar, And the banjo, All the ladies sing, this music has always touched my soul Somehow. Always seems to bring back good lasting memories of my childhood when things were a lot simpler and so much truer, Now look at the world today and what it has become, A distorted shadow where things are upside down it seems. The words of blue grass gospel music are pure and true, just like God's word is pure and true, oh for the time When we have been there 10,000 years singeing & giving praise for eternity.. I love playing my guitar and this music is always just a chord away And a simple Rephrasing of how I strike the strings, my friends don't understand where the sounds come from when I play, I treat each note as a human voice waiting its turn to speak With emotion the words I hear floating in my heart.

You are exactly right Todd😎, I never could get their names right. But what wonderful memories and times they were growing up. It seemed we were always laughing and playing music and just enjoying wonderful fellowship. I was always amazed watching my cousin Mary Alice playing the banjo, it always seemed out of place for her watching this beautiful young lady of such refined character fingerpicking and playing all over the place. But what did I know, I was just some little kid. I actually just gave a guitar lesson to the young man next door, and explained to him that I once sat right where he was, struggling with the absolute basics of simply how to hold the pick. Challenging him to understand how the emotion within you will one day be expressed in your instrument. Stay blessed and keep safe in these challenging times, God is in control. Danny in Texas

You shouldn't be religious if you truly want to follow Jesus. Following Jesus isn't about religion. Religion is a manmade phenomenon. Following Jesus is a spiritual movement of free will. A battle was fought in heaven a long time ago by a very selfish creature who wanted to be God. This selfish creature was a beautiful master of music with strings formed in his body. Sadly this creature succeeded with taking part of heaven with him but thankfully lost the battle. God and His mighty angel army won the battle and God's Son took our place to die for our sins. Someone who was without sin paid an amazing price so we could be free to choose who we serve. If you choose to believe that Jesus, the perfect Son of God, died to save you from your sinful nature due to fall of man through Adam, then you are saved from final death in hell.

Якщо ви віруючі люди моліться за Україну, щоб Бог послав нам мир на нашу землю і відвів від нас ворогів.

My Mom load the old record player up with 5 or 6 records with this type of music like then iron my family's clothing for hours and sing the songs as the youngest child I hung about while she sang and ironed. She taught me the words and the meanings. Seem like just a week or so ago....... then reality hits me I am a 65 year old woman and My Mom has been gone since 2005.

Just make sure to serve the Lord Jesus Christ; and thy life shall continue in heaven with those who made it there. 1John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purgeth himself, even [i]as he is pure. 4 [j]Whosoever [k]commiteth sin, transgresseth also the Law: for [l]sin is the transgression of the Law. 5 [m]And ye know that he was made manifest, that he might take away our sins, and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him, sinneth not: whosoever [n]sinneth, hath not seen him, neither hath known him. 7 [o]Little children, let no man deceive you, he that doeth righteousness, is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 [p]He that commiteth sin, is of the [q]devil: for the devil [r]sinneth from the [s]beginning: for this purpose was made manifest that Son of God, that he might loose the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God sinneth not: for his [t]seed remaineth in him, neither can he sin, because he is born of God. 10 [u]In this are the children of God known, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness, is not of God, [v]neither he that loveth not his brother.

@CristineConnell If you trust in God, trust in His Word, too. Read Hebrews 11:13, & 39, 40 IN CONTEXT. It reveals, along with so many other passages (see 1Tim. 6:16, & Rmns 2:7, 1Corin. 15:53..we still seek for immortality & we'll put it on when Jesus resurrects us at the LAST DAY) that God has something better planned for us...he will resurrect us all at the same time. No one goes to heaven before the rest. Judgment is happening now, so that "when HE comes, He will reward every person, according to their works". Read everything in context & don't live by hearsay or tradition. Bless you as you bring this matter before God in prayer. It'sore serious to understand than you might think. Satan wants to use misconception to deceive, esp at the end time...now. 🙏✝️
