After 2012, it was hard for almost any artist that wasn't Adele, Drake, Rihanna ect to sell over even 200,000 copies let alone hit a solid mark, because it's so much easier to illegally download, or stream the album (and those years, streaming wasn't added to overall sales, now it is). Her new album will hit the numbers it needs to for promotional purposes, and she was out sick for the rest of last year when she was planning to release another 2 singles. There are more albums going "double glass" than what's to be considered a "successful release" these days.

Hell, when I found out that she might have been fired hurt my heart. I love her. She was a good asset to the show in my opinion. She kept it funky & she was funny. I liked all of the women together cause it was cohesive with the women & it blended. Basically like U said, it was a balance situation. But I'm not gonna watch anymore. She gave me life during the show. Now its gonna be dull & boring. & If they get a replacement that would be foul. If they are gonna continue then they should just keep the 4 women & leave it at that. Here's my theory....They already had a photoshoot for season 3 which she was there for, they had the Essence Festival lined up too which was supposed to include all five of them. Why would they spend money on a photoshoot with her in it just to fire her? That's a waste of money, now they have to do a re-shoot with just four of the remaining ladies, or whoever replaces her if they replace her. That's spending more money or wardrobe, makeup, lights, a space to have the shoot at, photographer, graphic artist or whatever else. A studio wouldn't just be that frivolous with their money especially when it comes to a new a show. They're only 2 seasons in, they're not that successful just yet. So her getting fired had to be a quick call and decision. I believe they all found out that Saturday and because Tamar is never one to take responsibility and admit that she might've been the one to fuck up her own opportunity I think in her head she was like they will have to announce my leaving at some point and it's only so long you can hide things from the media so let me put this out now making it seem like somebody did something to me and unfollow two of these heffas so that when they say i got fired for my attitude people can say "nope she already said somebody stabbed her in the back, one of them got her fired." If she's the star of the show and the reason everybody watched how would the complaints of people and co-workers her fans claims nobody cares about get her fired? they wouldn't have that much pull to get her fired, plus her husband is a producer so you think Loni and Jeannie so called complaining is enough to get the "star" fired? Stop it, i believe she did something that pissed off the higher ups and they wanted her off. If anything she set her co-workers up to look phony and fake.

Not buying the focus group / advertisers argument. If that was all that was needed to get someone fired then no one would have a talk show. Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilley are both loud, obnoxious and disrespectful. However, they're still employed. The sad reality is that Black Women have a very small margin for error. The same adjectives used to describe Tamar's personality, along with the explanation for her termination, are the same words used to describe most black women.

When you really think about it, Tamar started this whole witch hunt. Dare I say it...intentionally. She knows what kind of fans she has. I agree. I don't particularly trust her because I realized she never admits she is wrong, chooses to blame others and the blame is always somewhere but her even when she obviously did something. You can't trust someone who does that often especially someone who does that at least 90% of the time. Her attitude probably rubbed people behind the scenes the wrong way and that led to her being fired along with the "extraness" she seems to have 24/7 and seeing how she must always start some social media war but is never wrong. She probably annoyed someone who was well connected in the crew/ cast.

I feel like a majority of tamartians are also part of the Beyhive. The way they invade is the same way that the Beyhive swarms. They are all ridiculous, and they seem a bit ignorant and just plain blind. To just jump the gun like that when Tamar never name dropped or even gave a real hint. Uncalled for. I will miss Tamar because, as Ti mentioned, she balanced out the other girls who were not always as responsive. Although her personality was a bit too much for me at times, I loved her interactions with the other girls and always found myself laughing at her reactions. When she would click her tongue in that ratchet way and you'd hear it echo throughout the whole studio, you knew she was about to spit some truth. All five women brought something different to the table and it worked well together. Maybe instead of attacking one another and the hosts, we should come together and stand behind Tamar. Maybe then the producers would change their minds.
