One compact but useful gadget idea, bola launcher, similar to the one made by wrap technologies. Lets you wrap a perp up without causing serious injury, its an alternative to tasers for someone fleeing or approaching. Could also be small enough to be put on the belt with other gadgets, and equipped to the gauntlets when needed.
@SuperheroArmorychannel
@SuperheroArmorychannel Жыл бұрын
It’s funny that you mentioned a bola launcher because i have it on my list of gadgets to build. I actually built a bola launcher when i was younger but i used too much gunpowder in the launching mechanism and when it fired the steel balls flew so far that i never saw them again, lol. I researched the Wrap Technologies device but it received terrible reviews and supposedly only worked 10% of the time. However, i do believe a simple old style bola with two heavy steel balls connected by a rope would work very well. Hopefully i can get to it this summer. Stay tuned!

Now this is my jam. Customizable gear, simple yet practical applications, and mod selection. although missile and STING launchers are cool, the ideas are endless. Reverting the flamethrower to a mod, a bola net shooter, or just a pneumatic pressure cannon. Could even prob make + size mods similar to Doomfist's gauntlet, but materials and weight would be a hinderance. All and ALL, you get an A on Meta Tech theory and just applauses from me. keep it up, Intrigue

Very interesting design! I had a similar idea for a shock gauntlet, but it was a full glove with shockplates (you know what I'm talking about) over the individual knuckles and on the inside of the hand on each fingertip and a large one on the center of the palm. The issue I ran into (aside from the ability to actually make it) is figuring out where to add a safety. My design was to be so sleek that it could be worn under a jacket/ almost concealeable in street cloths. The whole theory for the integration of the shockplates into the glove was making it out of 3 layers. The inner layer, a thin layer of thorshield (the reason you aren't electrocuting yourself), and a cut-tex outer layer with the plates all wired under/ into the cut- tex (thin wires that transfer the electricity running over thorshield but under cut tex allows protection of the wires and only leaves the protection on the points you'd be making contact.) In theory, the gloves could be made fairly thin due to the quality of the 2 main materials. The power components would be mounted on the forearm part of the gauntlet. Same general theory of design as the glove. However, this would be where you'd mount your power supply. I wasn't 100% sure on what I'd be putting here; but the general idea was rechargeable "batteries" with a selector switch for how much current to dump. That way, you can meter out smaller currents to go "back off" or essentially do a full dump of the entire supply. (Imagine getting hit with a defibrillator). Battery like components could be quickly swapped on the fly & be rechargeable for efficiency. On top of this though you could have a "power in" port for if you had a big boy power supply to feed into it. (Like how you have the battery stored somewhere else on your suit). The entirety of this could also have a sleek carbon fiber/ hard shell that could be form fitted over every component. This way when it's concealed you're not adding any significant bulk but are protecting all of your vital components. Doing so also allows you a small shield that could defend against most blunt/ slashing instruments. Making this plate removable also allows you to have another mountable plate to have all your additional super suit items for when subtleness doesn't matter. Totally feel free to use my design; but if you do, make me a copy once you refine it 😂😂
@SuperheroArmorychannel
@SuperheroArmorychannel Жыл бұрын
I really like your idea and it gives me a few new ideas to try. Also FYI, carbon fiber is electrically conductive so it can be used to conduct electricity as shock plates.
@random-unbreaded-commentor

@SuperheroArmorychannel I actually hadn't thought of that; would need to insulate the underside of the shell as well then. Glad I could help fuel your creativity! Part of the reason (most of it) that I never moved on my whole suit idea was well, I have zero capability either a computer/ 3D printing stuff (my laptop gets opened maybe once every 3 months) and the fact some of the materials either cost alot or you couldn't order them. The dickheads at cut tex never answer their emails. Think I tried for the better part of 6 months and never heard back on a single email. And since half of the suits integrity was coming from it due to the level 5 cut/ Slash resistance, finding an alternative was damn near impossible. But also major kudos on the helmet. I was going to be lazy and just get a davtec ronin and try to mod it a little 😂😂 too damn expensive though.

Yes this Dragon's breath canon is very powerful. I'll be field testing it soon in a video. I'm hoping that the weapons port can handle the recoil. I have a few rocket launcher designs under construction but plasma blades might take me a while to figure out.

@@SuperheroArmorychannel that was a joke the “plasma blade” part, of course. 😏🤷‍♂️ As if you can convert any electricity with a high concentrated/absorbed rod, that you can use to harness every energy into the concentrated blade. Especially the rocket fist one, however your creativity and ingenuity are unimaginable/unstoppable skill. What you could to is copyright (legally speaking) develop all the superheroes gadgets, for example: 1: rocket racer has electromagnetic hoverboards, wrist rockets like Boba Fett 2: moon girl has a lots and lots of gadgets between itching powder gun, vortex fan gun, punching gloves gun, jet/copter pack, rollerskates booster, multi function, helmet for night vision, infrared, ghost, VR and GPS. And the rest of the video games/shows we talked about, and further back about real superheroes and not just yourself, unimaginable talent, inspire trust and confident. Even if you think my theories and my belief can be overwhelming as well as others or than others, but that doesn’t mean I could/would/should give you my imagination based on what if’s or what can be. P.S you already build some of the gadgets I’d list down, so you can scratch some of them off. 😉👍

FREAKIN Awesome! Noice! I was thinking and wondering, would be possible to build something adding a voltage multiplier like and adding attachments for self defense, so when some grabs u they will fly across the room, like a electric Eel has. Just a dumb question
@SuperheroArmorychannel
@SuperheroArmorychannel Жыл бұрын
Not a dumb question at all. It could work by electrifying various armor sections with high voltage using a charged capacitor to prevent arcing. If anyone tried to grab me then the capacitors would discharge and shock the attacker. But It would only work if the armor pieces are metal and electrically conductive so it wouldn't work on the Mark 3, but it would work great on the Mark 2 armor. Great suggestion!

@@anthonyrickardii6198 Yes it’s possible. I did experiment with electroplating some 3d prints a while back. The only problem is I’d have to unstitch and remove all the armor parts to electroplate them and then stitch them back on. So conductive armor would be better for the next suit. I’ll keep it in mind.

Damn I think you have me sold on the modular weapons port. I might be able to integrate one on my exoskeleton if I get the chance. The main problem with a suit of armor is putting it on. It takes a long time to put the suit on and take it off especially if you're having to mount ballistic hard plates to shield yourself from bullets. Just imagine all the steel bolts and corresponding screw mounts you'll have to deal with. That's a huge problem if the public is depending on their local caped crusader to save the day and you need to quickly deploy the armor and arrive on the scene in no more than 10-15 minutes(just giving a fair estimate). I have a few ideas on how to resolve this issue but so far I haven't found anything useful yet. I'm still hard at work trying to look for a viable solution though. It's like they always used to say: "Discovery requires exploration."
@SuperheroArmorychannel
@SuperheroArmorychannel Жыл бұрын
Yes, getting into a suit of armor is cumbersome and slow but i have discovered ways to make it easier and speed it up. It requires good design but that can only be achieved with lots of trial and error and trying new things. Using an exoskeleton would make it much easier because you can use the external skeleton as a frame and then hinge everything off of that. I have an Iron Man art book that has a very cool concept art drawing of this.
@nemesisobsidian
@nemesisobsidian Жыл бұрын
@@SuperheroArmorychannel Yeah I'm planning to use some parts of the Mark 3 in my exoskeleton design and as a main platform for all my future exos. Like being covered head to toe in ballistic armor in a way there are no exposed areas that's very important if you're in a situation where you're getting shot at. Hnmm now that you said that using an exoskeleton would make it much easier I might have to start taking a closer look at my options to see if there's a breakthrough waiting to be discovered. If I can get this all to work I also want to install modular weapons ports so I can have mechanized shoulder fired missile launchers and other hidden projectile launcher weapons(non lethal of course) like the Ironman Mark 3.

Also just realized that modular weapons port can be a force multiplier in an infinite number of applications. From fully functional weapons to gadgets and sensors like a mini portable Geiger counter to detect dangerous levels of radiation ☢️. Communications devices could also be used on the port as well as mini charging stations for your mobile devices. The ports can also be used to connect power throughout the suit in a compact package without having to deal with individually connecting a bunch of cables and wires and wasting extra time to ensure everything is connected properly. So not a completely wireless approach but a more efficient wired approach. Honestly the port could probably be used to establish a wireless connection to all your attachments as well without establishing additional wired ports. I won't need to use a wireless port if I can design my exoskeleton in a way I can gain quick entry and exit in an emergency situation because I can simply mount and route wired ports throughout the back of the suit so nothing gets in my way and I can have the entry/exit method in front so putting on/taking off the armor will be really easy like getting in and out of a car.
@SuperheroArmorychannel

@nemesisobsidian
@nemesisobsidian Жыл бұрын
@@SuperheroArmorychannel Yeah me too. I think the Ironman MK 3 hidden weapons like shoulder fired missiles and flares might also be possible with this method. You could design the modular weapons port like an external piece of armor for an exoskeleton so it has a lower profile and have an internal mechanism that activates and pops up when a little electric current is applied to the conductive magnets like the MK 3 forearm mounted kinetic micro missile from the movie.

But as others have said the laws for these kind of things depends on where you live. There are much stricter laws and regulations in the U.S. for batons because it's seen as one of those scary dangerous weapons like switchblades, ballistic knives, and knuckle dusters.
