My God, I was such a huge The Tea Party fan in the 90s and I still listened to their old stuff over the years. I can't believe this came out all these years ago and I just discovered this in 2021. This is such an awesome song. I get shivers listening to it. I love these guys!

One of the most overlooked trio of super talented musicians out there. Power. Poise. Melodicism. Integrity. What else does a listener need? The solo is a true beauty, heavy Jimmy Page influence sure, but the phrasing, the spaces between the notes are mesmerising. This can't be taught. Its a gift. Thank you TTP.

Growing up around this band from the city of Windsor area and watching them grow from the coach and horses where they were the house band for a few years this band came out strong . If they would have been there in 1985ish they would have changed the sound of rock and roll ... very underrated for sure ..

So, another year went by. One step closer to the Ocean at the End, you could say. Wasn't the best year, far from it, but thankfully I had this song to help me venture through these times and now it resonates with my soul much, much greater. Thank you, Tea Party, for this life-changing piece of art, and see you next year.

I’ve been a fan of The Tea Party for over 20 years. They were the first band I ever saw live back in 2003 and I have loved almost all their material. Correspondences was my favourite song for over a decade…. Until I heard this. This has surpassed Correspondences to be my favourite song. It is mind blowing how they came out with one of their greatest musical outputs over twenty five years into their existence. I’m truly spellbound every time I hear this track.

The fact that this song doesn't have a billion hits is proof that it is a great song. You need some intellectual capacity and a bit of heartbreak to grasp this song. It is a very good song. It has great lyrics, great music and the ending is Epic.

You want, you take You need and you receive I can't follow my bliss Can't go on, can't go on Always feeling like this now So, my love There's a postcard that I'll send It's from the ocean, it's from the ocean The ocean at the end I can't blame this game All my cards have been dealt I'm trumped, I've been tamed And lately now, lately now I don't even feel like myself So, my love There's a postcard that I'll send It's from the ocean, it's from the ocean The ocean at the end Lately now I don't feel like myself So, my love There's a postcard that I'll send It's from the ocean, it's from the ocean It's from the ocean, it's from the ocean See those starlit skies, I'm so alone I hear those angels cry, please take me home See those starlit skies, fly so alone 'Cause I, I remember, please take me home Take me home Please take me home

This beautiful song speaks to my soul too, I absolutely love this awesome Canadian music group, one of my top favorites, the music video reminds me of my home island of paradise called Alert Bay BC, just off the northern tip of Vancouver Island 🏝️ I call it our island of paradise because we are surrounded by the Pacific ocean, beautiful mountains, the wildlife makes it extra special, but back to the Tea Party's music, they are so amazingly talented, I absolutely love them and will continue to love them throughout the years ahead 💞

Drevilrodrigues I’ve personally felt like Tea Party was way ahead of its time. I followed them in western New York and Canada in the 90s and early 2000s before the split. On stage, they’re incredible! Definitely one of the most underrated bands in my generation, for sure. Maybe it’s because they refused to work with a label. Idk but I never stopped loving their work.
