As most of Arjen's productions, this track is as serious as it is sardonic. He has the ability to initiate meaningful concepts while simultaneously reminding us that reality is not absolute. It is not the same for everyone (as most of us were conditioned to believe). I appreciate his tactful style of questioning as much as I appreciate his ability to encourage his audience (by example) to be open minded and even casual about the varied perspectives of others. I wonder what most of you consider when you think of this unique enigma we know as Arjen Lucassen. Is he a master of translating his understanding of the world into the language of music? Is he someone who can be serious, obsessive, and yet have a sense of humor about his own thoughts, or a philosopher, a scientist, or an insightful historian? Is he someone with a revolutionary theory of the relationship humans have with the universe? I can see all of this in his work and in his personal comments about himself and his art (which seem to be very much integrated). So, what stands out for you when you are enjoying Arjen's work? I am sincerely interested in your opinions as fellow fans regarding the productions of this talented and unique person we love so much. As always, I am very happy for you Arjen.
