Man, I’m always puzzled as to why that ‘When the Levee Breaks’ style drumloop intro to Temptation when played live never sounds anywhere near as good as it does on the record. Perhaps all software on the record while JB is approximating it live just via MIDI drumpad? I really only ask because it sounds sooooooo good on the record but it just doesn’t pack much punch live.
