I had a similar experience with a teacher who wasn't my teacher but I was forced to be in her classroom for the day, she called attendance and ignored me when I said "here" three times, each time getting progressively louder, then she said "alright i guess he's absent." and then I yelled "[MY NAME] IS HERE" and she was really rude about being corrected and said "Well you should've said it the first time instead of pretending to be mute". I reported her after that and i think she got fired because she "retired" half way through the year
