I don't know if you will see this reply, but I'll try anyway. One of the comments left on this video by a channel 'GODFIRST' reads like one of those crypto/investment scams, but has twisted it's wording to blend in with this video more than they usually do. It has a long 33 reply thread that goes down the same back and forth that those bots seem to do, name dropping 'financial experts' that 'helped them earn more money', only this time they're throwing around 'God bless' and the like to blend in and I fear catch some well meaning people out, especially with the channel name and twisting the usually selfcentred reasons for earning more money into 'ability to support their church', etc. It is deeply concerning and I hope there's something that can be done on your end that is at least a little bit more effective than the 'report as misinformation or unwanted commercial content/spam' as I feel they're now much more serious than either of those titles suggest.
@markwright3161 Жыл бұрын
Their channel appears to have only been started on the 5th of February 2023. They have 28 shorts on it, but I fear the possibility that they've been generated by AI, although I've not clicked on any of them to see more beyond the 'thumbnails' as I don't want KZbin pushing them on me anymore than it probably already will having went to their channel. Titles like 'Edit of Jesus pt1' don't sound right to me. On top of this they have 4 'movies that are demonic pt(x)', than in the titles are in order, '1', '2', '3', '4', but the image relating to them show inconsistent text, format and 'PT 1', 'PT 8', 'PT 17' and 'PT 7' respectively. I think more people need to know of this possibly being a new thing on KZbin. I've been struggling enough with Ecclesiastes without discovering this stuff going on as well. I paused halfway through because I feel stuck wanting to be able to do more than I'm equipped to (resources falling short of what's needed to do what's needed on our farm, as far as I can see it being possible, etc) despite feeling like I've already scaled back massively and yet still overwhelmed, etc, hence how I discovered that comment, which really didn't help given my mindset. That was probably more info than needed but the way my brain works, I may be on the Autism spectrum, I can't filter info/details very well. There's more to it that just that but this comment would be way too long if I try to explain it, as well as wondering way more off the original topic.

You DO make money from "views" though, right?
@markwright3161 Жыл бұрын
@@JoseRodriguez-it7zz That's not something they could just switch off even if they wanted to. It's not going to be that much if you think that's a problem. What they do earn that way is only going to go towards developing the various things they provide without any negative side for the viewer, so there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, even if you/they could earn a fortune from that alone. This stuff has to be funded somehow, app development, the more in depth 'classroom' stuff, etc. If they can fund as much of that as possible from unintrusive, non-customer-sourced funding then it's a win-win. It would be like winning a lottery or something without paying to enter or even needing to enter. We, the viewers, don't need to pay to view, nor pay in terms of time by sitting through adverts they've put in, so no matter how much they can earn from the 'views' it doesn't take anything extra from us.

Mine too. Always has been. Some of the lines and or passages within it are great by themselves but put together they contradict in a way that supports the culmination. For instance 7:16 -18. Do not be excessively righteous and do not be overly wise. Why should you ruin yourself? Do not be excessively wicked and do not be a fool. Why should you die before your time? It is good that you grasp one thing and also not let go of the other; for the one who fears god comes forth with both of them. By itself it's great but it kind of contradicts a further passage that also by itself is great, chapter 10:1-dead flies make a perfumers oil stink, so a little foolishness is weightier than wisdom and honor. Haha Wonderful contradictions that lead up to and further support the culminating moral of the story. Lean not on your own understanding. Fear God and keep his commandments. Anyway. Lots of good stuff in it. Don't listen to every word your servant speaks or you will hear him cursing you.

The wisdom of Ecclesiastes seems to be best summed up as, "Everything fades. There are no other guarantees." The Lord Himself seemed to accept that as the truth of this world when He asked, "can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?" and commanded, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today." Attempting to secure happiness in this life guarantees greater misery -- even if God lets you have everything you think you want! Finding satisfaction in accomplishing the eternal will of God in the present, in contrast, minimizes the experience of misery and futility in even an objectively painful life.

I’m with Jessica. Driving around southeast Portland by riverside I saw lots of young people on drugs and messed up like they had no caring parents. I don’t know what to do. Then I realized only the rich can make a big difference and that whole thing about the wealthy. Jesus was saying the poor will always be with you. Might mean something else.

hey your comment is from a year ago but I think I have something valuable to say. My friends and I (18-20 y/o, most without jobs) made a sizable impact on an area of homelessness in downtown Dallas. As a group we would get together ~$100 to make bags of food to hand out to the homeless people we saw as we walked around downtown Dallas. we also would search our closets for clothes we no longer wore. we would gather food and clothes together and talked to the people we gave these things to. We saw many people give their lives to Jesus and have renewed faith. So it might seem that way, that only the wealthy can help, but some of the most appreciated things we gave to the people was our time to listen to them. just wanted to encourage you a little bit. if you have a heart for it you really can help even if its just a little bit. ❤ God Bless!

The biggest take I get from Ecclesiastes is that it's not about you. Meaning the entire book is framed as what's in it for me? And it's constantly countered with everything is meaningless because I do good and don't get paid but evil man do evil and he does get paid ect. Like you clock in and god owes you money or something. God is good whether you exist or not. Whether you serve him or not. Ect. He doesn't owe anyone anything. I like how this book establishes that and walks the reader through the faulty scope until it comes to the conclusion.

Solomon was being guided by the wisdom given to him. In the New Testament it is revealed that Jesus is the knowledge of God that was presented to the people of that time, and in today to us of different races who fear the Lord (Father) as written in the Bible. Ecclesiastes, he was saying that there was no one who contributed to the wisdom in Israel before his time. The same can be said with John the Baptist. The difference is as a king and as a priest Jesus reigns forever, even to this day.

I would like to say this and ses if they read this but youn videos are great but I'm sorry I think you need someone who has gone through real shit in life and has real understanding of the bible and has loves this way there entire life ans have really lived and done with the word say. No offense but I can see you all did not suffer in life and have resl life experience to speak about the bible this way. U need a real and a person who has been through so much to make these conversations about the bible more real
