Had the pleasure of working with Jay - or as we called him "Bird", for several seasons with the Redskins. He's easily the BEST in the business and a CLASS ACT!!

Cool inside look at some unsung heroes on the team. Thanks, fellas. You know, during the Eddie D years, the 49ers were widely known to be kind of the Rolls Royce of NFL franchises. Just a first class operation. And of course after our beloved Eddie D’s mistakes, the Rolls was running on broken struts and bald tires there for a while. It was a very painful time to be 49ers fan: to watch as what we were become something so much less, something so unworthy of historic legacy. But I wanna give Jed credit: it’s taken a while but I’m pretty convinced now that he is one of us. By that I mean, I think Jed appreciates the historical importance of this franchise and has an appreciation for his role as the man entrusted to take care of it, to restore it’s fully glory and to never again let it go back to those dark times. I think that’s one thing Eddie D made sure to do: install his nephew with a love for this team from a young age. And he made his share of mistakes as a young owner but I do think he always meant well and always wanted to win. And now I think he has the perspective and maturity that age brings that’s allowed him to kinda self-scout and get better as the one entrusted with the keys to Camelot. Ok. That went a little far afield. Lol. But it just reminded me of who the 49ers must be to really be the 49ers: a first class organization from top to bottom.

As a mom of 6 and lifetime 49er fan (I came home from the hospital in a 49er onesie in 1988) I feel like I’m qualified to be equipment manager for a day 😂 Somebody call me 🥰

"I have the best staff in the NFL." Quite the statement, I wonder if their pay reflects his opinion as well.
