The tool is called a QR tool. Quick Release tool. The pins he popped out are called QR Pins. On the inside of helmet is a QR receptacle. Used to hold the pin in place.

Question: Do you carry your tools and helmet parts in your pocket or have you found a tool belt that helps? For 30 years I've carried all helmet posts, snaps. and miscellaneous parts in my pants pockets. Looking for a better answer

So weird why wouldn’t they buy one New Jersey per game there’s only 17 games ,, (and no playoffs when your a charger :..(…. ) I feel like Washing them, stitching them up and getting them looking new again would cost way more money.
