I remember back when Sundin was captain, mogilney was on the leafs and behind the bench was a young chubby kid that kid is now the equipment manager. He has been with the Leafs for 20 yrs + and I'm happy to see he is now the top dog and still with the club . I haven't mentioned his name because I dont know it by heart but hes in the video. I dont know what it is but I get a good feeling knowing he is still with the leafs , many of coaches and general managers have come and gone but he is still with the team .BRIAN PAPINEAU IS THE NAME ,just replayed video to get his name . I hope he is with the team ad long as HE chooses to be .

Brian Papineau has been with the Leafs since 1988, and head equipment manager since 1992. Mogilny's first year on the Leafs was 2001-2002, when Papineau would have been 36/37 years old... hardly a "young chubby kid" and he'd already been the head equipment manager for nearly a decade.

It's crazy they do all this with just 4 ppl. I would think an organization of this size would have like 8 ppl at least.

@RonKeats not trying to kill your dreams here but it's not as glamorous as this video makes it seem lol. To even get to this level you need to have experience...usually experience comes through the form of internships which dont pay money or very little to survive on. If you ok with working 14 hour days at the beginning with zero pay then by all means this is the right industry for you but I just wanted to give you a warning. Its harder than it looks and yes the perks are awesome but the amount of sacrifices you need to make personally and financially isnt worth it. Speaking from experience working in the industry

If you actually like playing hockey on ice yourself, then this job wouldn't be for you as these guys never really get a chance to play hockey themselves. They are too busy making sure highly paid NHL players get to play hockey at the highest level with no equipment issues to worry about for most of the year. I cannot imagine how these guys must mentally and physically feel during the summer trying to recuperate their bodies enough in order to do it all over again for another long season + playoffs. Since I prefer playing hockey myself, I could never do this job for longer than maybe a few days tops.

I hope these dudes are paid well. I worked in the service department of a hockey store in a hockey town for 7 years. This job is thankless and disgusting. The stink, putting your hands in wet equipment, catering to spoiled players, getting beaked at by parents who blame you because their kid sucks. I wouldn't do it again.

Why are you on their video if you don’t like them. don’t you have something better to do. And just to let you know that the Canadiens couldn’t even get to the playoffs in the past few years.
