I agree that Bruce/Nat was a bit rushed, but remember back to Avengers . .. . Hulk was the one character that Natalie truly feared. It's like he was the only one who could get past her training to create an emotional response. Nat herself explains why she's attracted to him (you guys talked over it a bit). "all my friends are fighters, and this guy avoids the fight cuz he knows he'll win". One of my favorite films of the MCU because I love the superheros being normal people moments. Great reaction guys.

Some of the Natasha scenes were kinda green screen because she was VERY pregnant while filming this movie. When this movie came out, people didn't like it as much as a lot of the other films, but after watching a few times, it's amazing how many story lines were planted in this movie. It set up so many new stories you'll see coming up.

This was indeed a great movie! Was it my favorite of all time? No. In fact it might be my 4th favorite Avengers movie out of the 4 so far. But that doesn't mean it was bad. It is still a fantastic movie, better than half of the X-Men movies and better than most of the DC films ever made.

To this day I still defend the Bruce/Natasha relationship. I actually think there was subtle setup for them in the first Avengers film. One reason I like their relationship as a part of this film is that it doesn’t work out because of the emotional baggage of both characters. On the surface so many people think they have nothing in common but it’s the opposite, both have been outsiders their entire lives dealing with terrible childhoods and so much trauma. They also both view themselves as monsters because of the death they have wrought in the past. When this film came out a number of people mistakenly believed that the film (and Nat) referred to her as a monster because she couldn’t have children and that is NOT the point being made in the shower scene between Nat & Bruce.

Funny enough Anthony Mackie/Falcon was supposed to be in the same sequence as War Machine flying around flanking the helicarrier but he had a scheduling conflict and couldn’t film for that scene. It also is more difficult because Falcons suit & look is difficult to replicate in CG compared to Rhodey as War Machine.

The Nat/Banner thing did seem to come out of nowhere, but don't forget she's a master of manipulation as shown in the first Avengers movie. I've always figured that one of the reasons Fury recruited Nat for the Avengers in the first place was because he knew she would be able to manipulate Banner and keep him under control, so it makes sense that Nat would try to get close to Banner as that was her job. It's possible that Nat did start to have real feelings for Bruce as they spent more time together (it's mentioned at the start of the movie that the Avengers have been working together for a while destroying what was left of Hydra), but it's also possible that she was acting the entire time.

Veronica is kind of an inside joke between Tony and Bruce. Veronica is a satellite mobile weapons deployment system. Designed to help contain the Hulk if he went rogue. Bruce's girlfriend was Elizabeth "Betty" Ross, daughter of general Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. Archie Andrews from Riverdale had two women chasing him ..Betty and Veronica. Hence the nickname. 😂 Wanda and Pietro Maximoff are the two twins. He is a speedster like the Flash. She can use telekinesis and telepathic mental manipulation.

This movie was hated by a lot of marvel fans actually, not because its bad, cuz its pretty fun and enjoyable movie, but there is few things wrong with it for comic book fans: 1. Forced relationship of Bruce and Natasha - it never happened in the comics and it was forced by Joss Whedon (director) 2. Ultron, the character was played amazingly by James Spader, but its not problem of acting, its problem of how we saw him: -Ultron is way bigger threat than this movie shows, it cant be one and done. -Ultron was made by AntMan (Hank Pym - not even the AntMan we have in the MCU - Scott Lang) which we didnt meet at this point, and creating Ultron was very personal to Hank. Also on a quick note, in the comics Wanda and Pietro are mutants, which Marvel Studios didnt have rights to, FOX did. But they made a deal that they can have Wanda and Pietro will belong to Fox's X-Men universe, MCU had Pietro just to introduce Wanda thats why Pietro died in this movie. Also thats why they couldnt use thier hero codenames Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver till Disney bought Fox.

Pietro and Wanda are known in the comics as Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch. They are mutants. They are never called by their hero names or that they are mutants in the MCU because Fox owned the rights to X Men and Mutants. Which is why in Ultron they say the Mind stone made them. Also at the time Fox was using Quicksilver so Marvel was allowed to use him only once. Which is why he was killed off. Wanda aka Scarlet Witch is one of the most powerful heroes in the MCU. You ain't seen nothing yet! Tony is in the next Avengers movies and a couple of others but he doesn't get anymore stand alone films. Before we get to phase 4, which starts with WandaVision tv series, you should watch the X Men and Spiderman movies. Watch those in release order just like the MCU films.

Ultron was voiced and mo-capped by the great James Spader.. 3. yes, ultron is very smart..he's an AI..it took him seconds to search the net for the mission of "peace in our tine".. 4. the twins are Wanda and Pietro Maximoff..they are originally mutants in the comics..but because, during the time this movie came out, the term mutants, and xmen and their mutant names was owned by 20th Century Fox, Disney and Marvel studios cant use those terms here..they can only use their human names for the film and call them Enhanced.. 5. Veronica is the AI for the Hulkbuster armor..the name is also a pun..Bruce was in love with Betty (Incredible Hulk) so Tony named it Veronica, as reference to the Archie comics.. 6. yes, Vision is played by Jarvis' voice actor, Paul Bettany..and yes, he is an android.. 7. The Hulk strength is like a Force of nature similar to a hurricane which gets stronger over time. So the longer a fight goes on the stronger the Hulk gets. Base level strength without getting any anger is about 350 tons now this goes for the MCU Hulk the comic book Hulk is much stronger of course. Veronica with the armory Tony attached to a satellite to be deployed across the world. Bruce is the one who built the actual Hulkbuster armor to defeat the Hulk and the only designs Tony put into the armor was so it could fit over his regular Iron Man suit also the limbs can be replaced when damaged.

Natasha and Banner have a connection because she was the one who first met him way back when, he almost killed her by accident and feels awful about it, they both feel like monsters who aren’t worthy of being called heroes or Avengers, they both feel like the outcasts of the group, but mostly they both feel like lab rats due to the things they both went through without really consenting to it. Plus they have been working together since they first met one another way back at the start of the first Avenges movie. So they have grown closer. BUT YOU ARENT ALONE A LOT OF PEOPLE DIDNT BUY INTO THEIR RELATIONSHIP. I personally like it but a lot of people felt like you did. I think that the director who has sort of a bad track record in terms of quality when directing Female characters and emotional relationships. So it makes sense that you didn’t buy into it.

OK, real world things happening at the time of this film. Fox still owns the rights to the X-Men and the term "Mutant" as well as all the other Marvel characters that they sold years prior. In the comics Wanda and Pietro Maximoff are children of Magneto, however in 2014 in preparation of this movie they learned that they are not actually mutants. On the Fox side they had only introduced Pietro as Quicksilver. So if you are following along, Fox has Quicksilver the Mutant and Marvel has Wanda and Pietro the genetically enhanced individuals, they promptly kill off Pietro since he 'exists' already as a Mutant. This was all the more evident in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when they introduced "Enhanced People" which all had abilities similar to mutants.

one of my favourite movies used to be Kickass and i find it funny that two actors of that movie played quicksilver. Evan Peters for the xmen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson for the mcu (of course they couldnt name him quicksilver but we know it is him .. no mutants or spiderman in the mcu EVAR :'/ )

Great reaction as always guys and now I officially cannot wait for you to watch Captain America: Civil War. One word of caution, however. Dialog becomes important now so if possible maybe talk less during dialog and save it for the fight scenes. Don't want you to miss anything that might be relevant later.
