From my experience as a child who grew up in the projects, kids like this one who picked fight with Katt Williams don't make it out. Sadly, they often die violent, bizarre deaths. The reason is lack of personal integrity and lack of loyalty. If you're black male in the hood or projects, have no money and you don't have these positive personal qualities, you are fucked.

As a public school teacher, I understand where Katt is coming from. It's hard to be the adult, the responsible person, to walk away and not defend yourself. I've had chairs thrown at me and been called out of my name so many times. There is no way to defend yourself from these kids. They know we can't defend ourselves and they will do everything to provoke you into getting physical with them. I remember being at work and one of my co workers was like "oh Katt Williams got beat up by a 7th grader... his career is over" and all that bullshit and it kind of pissed me off because though what Katt Williams did was dead wrong, his original intentions were good... to go to these communities and interact with them in a positive fashion. And its not just him... a motivational speaker not so long ago was blatantly disrespected by a group of kids during his visit. The only difference is he handle himself more professionally. It just boggles me that we tend to shit on the ones that is trying to give back and wonder why "Oh I don't see Bey coming to my school" or some " well Boosie forgot where he came from" and shit like that...not saying that's whats going on but just an example. I think his response was appropriate. He understood that things happen when playing sports. People get competitve... talk shit.. and sometimes hurt feelings turn into something more.
