Tale as old as time, a woman wants to do something - anything - with her body, and a man takes it on himself to say she's wrong. Let's please learn from history and not persist in repetition. Fascinating topic, thank you.

I like the video in it showed when a woman would do the same as a man. Likeness and image, yes. Power hungry people can be anybody. Men can be and are demonized for doing it. Pulcheria was no different. Believing in the virgin Mary in reality or not is fine with me. Without a doubt a symbol of power to empowerment for Pulcheria. Good for her. The only ouch I had was when Joyce Salisbury said misogynist. Being neutral in her language I felt would have been better. Than unfortunately I thought Joyce Salisbury was displaying misandry. Then I thought a little and now I say maybe she is . I know some people will not be happy with my comments. I believe in treating all people good. I do not in most cases bring judgement down on others because of the culture they come from. And the times I do Judge other I stop myself and say not a good way to be. Tribal we all are, self-righteous we easily become if not being careful.

@BelievingWitch Okay, I have yet to see only toxic Masculine on the internet. I also see toxic Femininity on the internet. Now I will use my words. We as people seem to me find a way to lessen the other by using abusive ad hominems. I prefer the way I talk to all kinds of people I disagree with and agree with in a accepting way. I do the best I can by being aware of in-group bias. There is many things that disturb me. By many different types of people. I do what can be done by getting my thinking away from I'm right and their wrong and bad. We all have faulty thinking.

I am investigating a thought that the church was corrupted (not only, but most effectively) by Constantine legitimizing it. It seems that Pulcheria instituted the worship of Mary in the sanctioned church, and the empire continued persecution from within (the church) instead of from without (as pagan). What are your thoughts on this? Thank you for any help. I have enjoyed many Wondrium courses too!

That's why concept of god having family, like mother, etc2 it's unnaceptable. Since if god already almighty, then god didn't need to be born thus having parents, since god already exist without having or need beginning.

Religion was invented when the first FOOL met the first CON man. Mark Twain Religion is regarded by the common people as true, by the wise people as false and by the rulers as useful! ~Lucius Annaeus Seneca "More people have been killed in the name of GOD than for any other reason!" The inspiration of the Bible depends on the ignorance of those who read it! As people become more intelligent, they care less 4 preachers and more for Teachers.
