I really do love Lisbeth as a character, and this shows why. She can be brash, rude, insulting, and vulgar, but she will always be there for her friends. It's really sad because she was developing feelings for Kirito (and they had some good chemistry with all of their back and forth jabs), but Asuna is her best friend, and as soon as she saw that she had a thing for Kirito, she sacrifices her own happiness for her. It's heartrending to see, but also a great testament to the quality of her character.

This episode also played with my heart. Glad they wrapped it up in the way they did though. Him telling her how much meaning their time was for him should make her feel less like a hole in the heart. Great episode, Kirito is feeling his best so far here since the game started. The way he teases her showing his playful side, shows he's coming out of that hole he used to be in. Asuna helped him out of that darkness, once they started hanging out together.

My very first anime which still has a place in my heart.i don't know why people hate it so much.i know they actually skipped a lot of content from light novel but they did a good adaptation. But be ready for a heartfelt scene from this series that even made me cry like a baby

Idk why people hate on this series unlike Naruto enjoying SAO felt effortless from ep1 clear through War of the Underworld. While I was attached enough to the characters to wish it had been longer I have always been a fan of tight knit storytelling. No fillers no reliance on retcons no characters repeating the same char development arc-in SAO every episode matters.

I feel really bad for Rika/Lisbeth. She really does deserve better, and it's horribly depressing that she essentially sacrifices her own happiness for the sake of her friend Asuna. She could potentially have had a chance with Kirito, but she knew how Asuna felt and so pushed them together instead of making a move on him herself.

Anime just like at times in real life, a Guy doesn't know if he is liked or loved by a girl and is often dim witted to notice if a girl likes or loves him :3 As for Kirito expect him to be often dimwitted enough that he won't know if a girl loves him or not till she makes it known to him upfront as Kirito really isn't at that time focus on finding love but being focused on survival getting stronger staying alive and getting close to someone would just adds fear in him of one day losing that person close to him thus just as he had in his past thus it's not easy for Kirito to get close to anyone at that time as the trama of what happen in his past is always at a all time high in his mind... Watching the anime in my past, I can relate how Kirito feels having fear of possible lost and striving to get stronger and better just to keep alive in the painful days ahead.. Anyway. Kirito may be close to Asuna but she being one of the few people he hangs around with and talks with often and since Asuna is up on the battlefield like Kirito and in that way she gets to be around Kirito more often into battle at times.. When thinking about it the circumstance kinda sucks as i feel sorry that Liz couldn't get to be with Kirito that way that she wants....

I swear there so many times I watch an anime and the main character just sits there's watching a character having a break down and they just watch them. Fricken hug her Kirito! I doubt you are that clueless about her feeling, sure you don't want to be with her but surely a hug would be fine. She needed it. If I was him I'd hug her, say I wasn't interested but I'm sure you'll find someone and say we could still be friends.

Everyone here seems to be missing the point. Him catching the eavesdropper was an in game skill. Him not hearing Liz was physics - real world physics - being applied in game. Mythbusters did a test, and you can’t hear anyone, no matter how loudly they yell, in that situation. The game replicated that same inability to hear when free falling in real world to the game.

I really like Lisbeth (she is my favorite character) but geez the English dub they have much more, in your face(?) personalities. Kirito isn't that mean in the sub and Lisbeth isn't as angry. I don't know, the sub just feels off for.the characters personalities. Like they dialed them up a bit for no reason. Like some of the script changes. Like Liz telling him if he is going to be mean call her Liz. I'm the sub she tells him her friends call her Liz. The tension is still there but it has a friendly atmosphere.

i once ran up the gym wall at my high school, for the sake of someone being taken advantage of upstairs, so i thought. i thought some guys were taking a girl's body that i knew, i couldn't stand by and do nothing, but i guess i sure scared whoever it was up there because they tried to run... then they got arrested it sounded like. at first i hit the winch that holds up the lines for volleyball nets and stuff, started to bleed on the top of my head, then i climbed up instead of running up because i thought there was no time. if you have to catch r4p1$%$, make sure some cops are around... they might take you and do who knows what to you as well. free runners, don't run up walls unless they're unabtructed, or you can get around the obstruction. you'll get yourself hurt.

Please watch SAO Abridged , they recently finished season 1 and are currently working on season 2. It's really awesome, especially if you watched the original beforehand, but it's enjoyable either way.

No, catching the eavesdropper *isn’t* the same as trying to hear words as you’re falling. One is an in game skill, the other is physics - real world physics applied in game, and Mythbusters proved you can’t hear a thing when you’re free falling like that.
