Went there with my wife back in 2013 after I finished university. Three absolutely magical weeks we spent in Beijing and the Temple of Heaven is easily my favorite building in the whole city and one of my favorite in the world. Ah, good times. Such cool people everywhere ❤❤❤

@@anch2602 I am from Indonesia which is one of the biggest Muslim countries in the world and I have been to China many times. I have met a lot of Uyghur people and they are even scattered all over China mostly opening their own ethnic restaurants which is quite a popular type of food in China, especially the lamb skewers. You can also google Dilraba Dilmurat (or better yet just google top 5 actresses from China and her name will pop out), she is one of the most famous people from China and she is from Urumqi, Xinjiang. One last thing, go Google Chinese currency of 100 yuan which is their biggest currency: there are writings of all ethnic minorities including Uyghur writing there. So if China is trying to commit genocide or even after Western media backtracked their stories into "Culture Genocide", China is doing a really bad job at that, don't you think? I understand your source of news is very limited only to Western mainstream media, but come on dude in 2023 you still believe what they say?

This is a fine line to walk of having fun and being DISRESPECTFUL.. not saying that they were , but imagine u are in your gym trying to exercise, and a group of tourists start walking through laughing at the people exercising and making fun of the equipment. Some people will pay it no mind but some people are more private and it will ruin their workout. Not saying they were disrespectful but its close. Actually the more I watch it , I thnk water and Jake did a good job of providing the experience of chinese culture and having a good time wthout being to intrusive.
