While the Ed Sullivan Show was the epitome of tv shows, there was another weekly show for teens. Shindig had the Shindig dancers and all the screaming teens. Here is a compilation of performances of the Righteous Brothers on Shindig. They were regulars on the show. The clip shows how diverse the Righteous Brothers were. Having fun singing with The Blossoms, singing their first recorded song, Little Latin Lupe, and just having fun. Hope you enjoy this. ❤kzbin.info/www/bejne/r2OoZ4ifn7R7m80si=_EeLA91otyiNOIpN

Loved this! I also grew up with this music but I never saw the groups sing each others songs. How did I miss this on the Ed Sullivan Show?

I wish I could explain what an incredible moment in musical history this was back then, especially when you're a teenager who idolizes these singers. You couldn't even believe they were on stage together--and when Melvin joins Mary and Cindy, it was wild. All consummate performers. Ruffin bringing the house down with that scream (notice how he delays his move forward on purpose just to try to upstage her). And Ross in great voice here, all presence and energy.
