Four weeks earlier it had peaked at #17 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Hot Black Singles chart... Between 1964 and 1975 the Detroit-super group had fifteen #1 records on the Hot Black Singles chart, in addition, they also had seven records peak at position #2... Dennis Edwards, who sang lead on "Love On My Mind Tonight, passed away on February 2nd, 2018, one day shy of his 75th birthday... May he and Don Cornelius {1936 - 2012} R.I.P.
