In Mark 12:17 “And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.” The reason the 10 Commandments are written on two separate tables, I believe, is because we are to have government laws for constructive behavior’s, and penalties for those who break them (most of the last six Commandments are already part of our government law, but not all enforced. The first four Commandments are not to be enforced by government law because we have all been given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3), to grow in God’s grace (2 Peter 3:18), or to push God’s grace away (1 Peter 4:1-2), It’s called, “free will” to choose who we want to serve. (See John 8:32,36). In the other hand, no one can fully keep God’s 10 Commandments without growing their faith in Jesus Christ: Ephesians 2:8-9-“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Roman’s 6:15 “What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.” 1 John 3:4 “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” Romans 3:31 “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.” 1 John 2:6 “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” Romans 8:9 “But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” Note: it should come as no surprise that those who don’t know Jesus Christ, do not care to keep His Commandments. (See John 14:15; 1 John 5:3) James 2:10 tells us: “Whosoever keeps the whole law, but stumbles in just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. (NLT) Hebrews 11:16 “But without faith it is impossible to please him (God): for he that comes to God, must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Jesus Christ forces no one. The Lord appeared of old unto me, Saying, Yea, I have loved the with an everlasting love: therefore, with loving kindness haveI drawn thee.” The Lord Jesus Christ takes no pleasure in the death of those who transgress His laws of His own characteristics. … please see John 3:16-17; Ezekiel 18:23, 33:11; 1 Timothy 2:6; 2 Peter 3:9; Titus 2:11. … Jesus died so that we could turn, and live! There’s no need to perish in death. We don’t keep the commandments of God to be saved. We keep God’s words because we love him, and we are saved by the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him (the adversary) by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto death.” Lastly: what Jesus did for us is no small thing. Isaiah 53:5-8; Isaiah 61:1-3: John 3:16-17; 1 John 2:1; “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, Whether good or evil” (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

I'm a Christian but I do not think the ten commandments should be put into the schools . It's a matter of choice . What's next , are they going to be the commandments of GOD or the commandments of men. Ie The Roman Catholic church there commandments are different to GODS

If you do not seriously live the the 1st, 4th, and 5th commandments, then you are not a fan of the commandments of God.
