jennifer, very good comment. I would add that the biblical definition of "sons of God" is found in Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Fallen angels certainly aren't "led by the Spirit of God!"

If you believe in the unbiblical myth that angels married women, then you also believe in the Greek mythology of Zeus and these other mam-made gods & mythological stories. Both beliefs can't exist together so choose one.

Angels were called into existence as spirits, not created for procreation or given the prerequisites to procreate, while man was created lower as a human being and given the necessary functions to procreate and replenish the earth. Adam wasn't created a spirit and neither was he created on the level as angels.

Yes, they did. The offspring became men of old. The offspring were killed in the flood and the angels that did not keep their first home are chained in darkness till the judgement.

The word for "nephilim" in hebrew means "tyrant" or "bully". Has nothing to do with angel babies...it's not even possible for that to happen.

It is not possible for angels to fertilize the egg of a human! If it were so we would expect the devil to populating the earth today. It is God who gives life and not even the devil can do that. If it was possible for angels to impregnate a woman then we must throw out the doctrine of sin. And again if it were possible would God breathe life into such a being. The context clearly refers to the descendants of Seth and Cain.

@@janetharley9465 that is impossible. The offspring would not have been born in sin since all sin is derived in Adam through the male. Since no human male was involved in this myth these people would be without sin and death would have no claim on them.

It is so nonsensical to suggest angels married women! The giants are obviously dinosaurs! These are the cursed angels that fell from grace! Their remains are in the earth! God said to Satan where have you been? He replied, walking up and down the earth. You need legs to walk!
