When I'm doing super high belts like D5 - F5 (if you can call them belts and not some kind of reinforced falsetto) I do try my hardest to sing true vowels, but when it comes down to it, I do kinda skew the vowels so that I can hit the notes easier, but that's also coming from a singer with classical training who doesn't warm up as much as he should!

I wish I could do this, the recordings of my old band aren't anywhere really, we had songs on Myspace that aren't available anymore and we stupidly never had anything on KZbin. I might try to rewrite/rebuild/update them from what I remember at some point, could be fun lol
