The slow motion part and the chilling score adds level to build tension! 0:37 Like a shark through shoals of lesser fish, the Terminator starts stalking through the club until Sarah spotted Kyle. 1:04 And that gives away her location for CSM 101 to assassinate its target that puts everyone on the edge of there seats. But foiled when Reese intervenes in a nick of time by given the machine several shotgun rounds to stun him. James Cameron is an absolute genius filmmaker I am telling you.

James Cameron once said in an interview that 'Halloween' and 'Jaws' were the main inspirations for the T-800. It searches for its target (i.e. Michaels Myers) and when it sees Sarah for the first time, it zeros in on her position like a great white shark when it locates its prey (Bruce from 'Jaws'). When the club's music drowns out while the score creeps its way in and the slow POV shot of approaching Sarah sends chills up my spine every time. It's my favourite shot of the movie.
