Brad Fiedel did everything by hand in this OST. What an influence he brought also to the keyboard development and scene. His best recognized work might be in T2, but this is some wizardly stuff and no praise this OST gets from musicians are not in vain.

Definitely a horror movie. The soundtrack here sounds like a train coming to run you over.. The second film was more sci-fi/action/adventure though. I like the TV Tropes page on this. "From James Cameron's nightmares to yours."
@sapphyrus4 жыл бұрын
Cameron himself said that back then every director wanted his own Halloween, such was Carpenter's impact. Cameron definitely made his own, perfect one.
@VramanNoodles3 жыл бұрын
The 1st one's Soundtrack were terrifying and intense when I first watched it (Especially the Terminator arrival theme or Sarah and Reese in the Garage OST. The 2nd was also intense but not as terrifying as the 1st one, Judgement day had more of an action packed soundtrack sort of feel to it. It was scary, imagine a liquid Terminator coming after you, but what I'm trying to say is 1st had much more horror to it. Also Brad Fiedel is one hell of a composer.

Halloween 2018 seems to be took pages from T2. The kid is trained to use guns and survival skill. The main character even got a basement full of guns.

Seriously imagine yourself in this position ... you're getting chased by an advanced cybernetic killing machine that will not tire or give up it's only mission is the death of you , you're driving a small speed pick up truck, whilst they are on a sports bike gaining closer and closer, the music just fits the scene, thank God for the truck that crippled arnie 👌😂
