The amount of potential this biome has have already been really well explored by mods like calamity, thorium, and even infernum But that’s the thing, the other mods have kinda changed so much on their own, thst changing it coukd break the mods My opinion

Always felt that oceans were just free arena spots. It should really be bigger than forests imo and have islands or possibly mini-biomes like a volcano.

that would be weird and also make the world feel way smaller

probably more of a technical reason. It would be VERY hard to make it smooth and will take a lot of recoding old code (which is VERY likely to go wrong and break other things). It would also not make much sense and would make the ocean more of a large lake
