What do you think of the East Asia Super League and their Terrific 12 tournament?

Imagine if we had a national pool of players 19-20 years old, under contract to play exclusively for the national team for 4-years (paid equivalent to PBA rookie max salary), they could join tournaments like this one throughout the year. It would help a young ntional team immensely in gaining experience, getting better, becoming stronger, increasing their confidence and developing chemistry.

how about PBA teams just continue to participate playing against KBL, JBA and ABL teams... like an expanded ABL tournament, with ASEAN + Korea and Japan and Taiwan pro-teams... i think that will be the best solution to improve competition level in our country.

More pocket tournaments will help all the Asian countries to improve and they could actually make it profitable but that matter will be up to the basketball associations and the other stakeholders.
