There's a cheat code that can turn your sim into a night wraith. It makes them deeply sad forever, but also turns them into a blue ghost and electric sparklers comes out of their eyes, just like the original (but with your sim physical appearance). It is quite interesting to think that maybe the night wraith *was* a sim before it was turned into what it is now. Usually when I want to create a cursed, but playable, sim, I tend to put this cheat on him and make him torment everyone around him. Or I'll create a random sim and put the curse so they are stalked by the night wraith lol Edit: You guys could just have Google it, my notifications are off lol Night wraith curse: traits.equip_trait trait_Curses_NightStalker Become a night wraith: traits.equip_trait trait_Ghost_Curses_NightStalker_Stalker Source: Sims-online

I didn’t even know this exists. Realm of Magic would probably benefit from some actual incentive to push limits other than to torture your Sim - it’s far too easy to avoid curses. So apparently there are more possible curses than I was even aware of. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Came across him doing a short supernatural challenge. my sim started in a witches cottage with a grave and ghostly haunting. Ever the convoluted and epic story teller, my sim went on a resurrection and rejuvenation quest to bring back the ghost who captured his heart. Little did I know that she died due to some unfortunate curse related issue that upon resurrection she was still being in affected. I spent days trying to figure out why she was so tired and couldn't sleep (having never really played the rom pack I wasn't really familiar with curses). And then this spooky fudger shows up and I think the house got s new much creepier ghost to haunt it. I MC banished him, deleted him, and added him to my family, killed him and released his spirit trying to get this weird ghost to go away, meanwhile my SIM wife I am desperately trying to keep alive due to what I was thinking was an out of date mod trying to kill her as I did a full cleanse of 23g of mods to try to find what was breaking. When I finally figured out what was happening I spent more time having her level up she potion skill so she could learn the potion to remove the curse because I didn't realize you could buy it in the whims store. Fml I haven't felt so bamboozled my Sims in ages.

My little girl dreamt that a ghost put a finger in her ear, so for years and years she had to sleep on her side so one ear was protected by the pillow, and then something like a blanket or stuffed toy would go over her other ear. And she couldn't sleep facing the wall, because that was the wall the ghost came out of 🤦

Dravis Bumfield is the only Spellcaster I've had get the curse. Made him quite the unique sim to play and have as a townie. Gameplay wise, he's still able to do a lotta things, but getting him in a good mood is extremely difficult. Like you'd practically need to Beguile him if he ever wants to feel flirty. Quite a few things require Sims to be in a good mood including making good quality stuff. Magic became essential in easing life since Repairio improves the quality of objects and food. Tho he knows how to get rid of the curse, I keep it on him. As a townie he won't stay in one place for too long. Usually because his energy being at 0 forever means he'll try to go home to sleep. Even when you're not playing the sim, the wraith will most likely show up if the sim is on the lot long enough. Then it becomes EVERYONE'S problem. Being near the wraith will make Sims throw up on the floor making a mess everywhere and the wraith constantly screams. Great way to ruin a night out

According to the lore behind werewolves, vampires, and spellcasters; vampires are the result of spellcasters using duplicato on themselves and then [through some unavailable to the player means] made the clone permanent, and, not wanting to care for them, gave them a dependency on potions which apparently backfired or just went horribly. My question is; if the very first vampires were corrupted spellcaster clones, what is vlad? Someone who got turned, or one of the originals? If he's one of the original corrupted duplicates, what happened to the spellcaster he came from originally?

i know this is an old comment but i like the theory that the night wraith IS the spellcaster vlad. the night wraith even kind of looks like him. there’s not too much to base the theory off of other than that he is associated w spellcasters and that he sort of looks like him but i like to believe it because it’s interesting!

I'm so surprised that you didn't know about this. You know the night wraith is kind of like a dementor. It is also a combination of a ghost, spellcaster and vampire, which I found intriguing when I first found out. Although now that we know from the werewolves lore that vampires came from spellcasters just as werewolves do, it makes so much more sense. It is another consequence of a spell going wrong. Hmm I wonder if anyone has tried adding the night wraith trait to the Grim Reaper, then we would have a proper looking dementor.

I remember getting this curse when ROM came out and I couldn't find ANY information about it. For some reason I could hear it screaming and I had all the moodlets but the wraith was invisible. I was so creeped out I just stopped playing that save.
