Sims 2 honestly has so many fun things in it. I loved playing it when I was young, because I LOVED secrets and mystery that happened in the game. Sims 3 was fun also, but in meaning to explore the open world. As much as I don't hate Sims 4, I think it's dull and boring tbh

Wacky Daniel is a play on Crazy Dave, from plants vs Zombies. A crossover that occurred in Sims 3, with zombies who eat plants and the plant shaped light from the game that looks like the sunflower from Plants vs Zombies. Still don't know why they changed the author, but that's the reference.

Alfred the Butler is most likely a reference to Alfred Pennyworth from DC Comics, aka Batman's Butler!

"accidentally in love" happened to me, but not through wants, through autonomy! I created sim 1, and they had a baby with sim 2, who we'll call sim 3. sim 1 and sim 2 broke up, and sim 1 married sim 4. sim 4 and sim 1 had a baby too, called sim 5. with me? no? good. one day when sim 3 and sim 5 were hanging out together at sim 3s house, sim 4 came round (sim 3s stepparent, sim 5s bio parent). I went to go make sim 5 hug them, and saw the romance category was for some reason available? eh, whatever, must be a one time bug or something. I moved on and made sim 5 go cook some food while sim 3 talked to their stepparent. I looked away for one second. I then see the notification for when a rose is given as a romantic gift, and the icons are sim 3 and sim 4. sim 3 gave their stepparent a rose and kissed their hand. SO OBVIOUSLY I WAS LIKE "WHAT THE HELL NO" AND I LOOKED AT THEIR RELATIONSHIP THEY HAD HALF FULL ROMANCE????????? I made them do the "just friends" thing but was grossed out that the empty romance bar was still there, so ended up using MCCC to remove it. All good, all done, right? WRONG It was sim 5s birthday, and I made them invite sim 4 (bio parent) and sim 1 (also bio parent) to their birthday. all is going well, and im looking at sim 3 (they were also invited) and focusing on them for a second, when out of the corner of my eye I see a kiss. Im thinking "aww cute sim 4 and sim 1 are flirting thats adorable" so i go zoom in to take a screenshot SIM 5 IS FREAKING MISTLETOE KISSING SIM 4. WHAT THE HELL. The parents did not ever get invited over to sim 5 or sim 3s house again because autonomous flirting is a horror story!

I'm in the process of trying to finally move out of my mom's house and that is VERY stressful for me as an autistic girly, I feel like absolute garbage, my anxiety is through the roof and I can feel burnout creeping up. What I really want to say is that your videos (old and new) are really helping me rn, I can tell that our experience as autistics is very similiar and it gives me so much hope that I'll also be able to have a space of my own and find a way to live (good days and bad days). When Plumbella was talking about the Tricou family I was a little confused. The one guy, Fripperith? was a ghost in 3, which happens 20 some plus years before sims 2 right? So how he could be a ghost then and then a child of this family now? Maybe I missed something in her explanation, cause she made it sound like he was a vampire, faked his own death and then moved to another town and died. Except the town he moved to was 20 years in the past? I just don't think it makes sense.

i know this is OLD but i have a theory: looking back on the mechanics of the sims in previous games, it’s possible this world was never meant to be seen and serves to add content into a newly patched / newly downloaded world adventure expansion. in the sims 2, there were secret ‘hoods that would attach themselves to newly generated hoods and were never intended on being seen, and the only purpose was to add hobbies, weather, etc. potentially this could be the case with adventureland? still doesn’t explain the two random townies that aren’t seen in any main worlds, though.

I totally agree there are so many unanswered questions that sims 4 should’ve answered. The time line is missing a big chunk and it sucks as a player that’s been playing since the sims 2 releases and castaway on the ds, it sucks that we never got to see any other storylines answered. There were so many great opportunities for the storyline part.
