Sadly many a shindy continues to do so. Nothing shows a shindy (shitty Indy)promotion more than if they have a fake a doink the clown on their card. Heel Doink was like Krusty, Jack Nicholson's Joker and a horror character all wrapped into one, with great wrestling. They turned it face whilst Matt was still there which was daft, though I reckon he'd have been able to make it work - but it was the face change from the smile to the frown that made it good. If he would have stayed and they booked it properly that gimmick could have remained into the attitude era - it could have become what he did with it in ECW then and just made it more lunatic.
