When they said natural droidekas, I was already thinking about the insectoid species - the colicoid - that heavily resembles them. I mean, they look like Doridekas when they're not transformed into a ball. I got confused for a moment. And if this species forced the Empire to make peace with them, then they are force to be reckoned with.

A world filled with dangerous meat eating monster who are very intelligent creatures who created some of the most destructive battle droids in the Confederacy Droid Army, and quite frankly they some of the “Alien” culture that one would expect from a large Galaxy in Star Wars, but perhaps the Anamin are perhaps more biologically related to the Hutts considering how they biology allowed them to shrug off major wounds.

How decent of the worm-folk to respectfully keep their gross yet natural dietary tendencies to themselves. No like seriously, that's a very respectful thing to do for a race of literal worm people. Also: I have a list of reasons not to visit any of the ancient mesoamerican civilizations (particularly the Mayans because of the fear of being sacrificed to Quetzalcoatl and a Sam O'Nella gag.) The idea of two groups of people literally about to start slaughtering each other, instead of ambush each other, choose to coordinate the fight like it's a high school fight is both hilarious and really cool

I think it is the best interests for the Amanin and the Lurmen colonists to band together to defend their home. Tee Watt Kaa isn't going to live forever. So when his son or someone else who disgreed with his ideology steps in as the new leader of the colony, they might be able to find the common ground with the Amanin and defend themselves from the other invaders.

I read the comic. And MAN was it good to see the Imps get torn apart like that. Hardly as embarrassing as being defeated by little space bears, seeing as the spears the Anami used weren't dinky arrows that needed to hit weak spots, and were significantly stronger. Allowing the spears to just punch through Stormtrooper armor.

I really liked this story when I first read it. First off. its from the imperial perspective and they aren;t moustache twirling villians which is always fun, Second its a clash of civilizations of very different tech levels and the result of a cultural misunderstanding and third the way it ends. I mean after a two day battle where both sides suffer heavy casualties the imperials are getting ready to die fighting when the enemy not only praises them but pretty much says they are willing to pay for peace. Plus the real ending were Sunber shows that battlefield success is no substitute for weasly politics if you want to advance your career...

They don't actually have skin, most likely, Earth planarians don't, they're just flesh, no skin, no body cavities, no digestive tract, only ganglia instead of brains. These are aliens though, not true planarians, but ultimately it's probable that the whole body is poisonous.

Well they're a peaceful race who minds their own business, their warfare is only a way of maintaining peace, it just so happens that they're hyperviolent due to their incredibly robust bodies, and thus they have no understanding of the much more frail alien races of the galaxy, so they don't seem to have any desire at all to go conquer, simply a desire to not be conquered.

So the WHOLE imperial incident thing...was a LITERAL total misunderstanding... An yet... The "Empire" here accidentally proved worthy anyways... THIS actually sounds like it'd be a pretty cool and good movie shot in the WW2 style in similar fashion as some of the classics we got in the real world today... What'd be ironic, an a bit funny, is if in their galaxy someone made some Holonet movie about these said events.. thinking similar thoughts related to "X" event in their verse.
