On the 22nd of this month it will be two years since my last attempt :D I hope all of us make it, too. I know how hard it is, but there IS healing in your future. Love, ~Wings~

I know the feeling of worthlessness, hopelessness, but I too realized that we do have a choice. Choice like it suddenly hit me like a lightening bolt! I do have a choice to live or to die. I remembered that I told myself that one of these days I will stop drinking alcohol, and the day came. I learned to trust myself so I could believe in something when I was on the worst DTs withdrawal in my life. I have stopped drinking alcohol and drug free for 30 years now. I do not look back with regrets .

I saw my mother in every single thing she said, but my mother was unfortunately successful in taking her life..This was a very hard video for me to watch, because I could hear my mother speaking instead, things Ive heard her say and then her suicide letter incorporated all the backburner issues that come to a boil because of one difficult event..

grief can be heavy enough to break you. to where slicing up your arm feels amazingly good, nice, and real. its nice that terry survived. i cant stand it. a year and a half of constant grief drowning. i hope they keep trying to save the teenagers. im 45, A.O. was 40 when this happened. listening is a rare art. just wanted to tell my pain before i do it. more details than youtube has space here. thanks for trying.

I cry every night and struggle with suicidal thoughts one reason I don't go through with it is because of my daughter and my pets whom are very old. This is not a joke not a cry for help. I really feel a loss everyday overwhelming loneliness feeling an abject failure as a person. God knows I want help but fear judgement. I am 48 forgotten, broke and sick I made my bed now I have to lay in it by myself Love when able, cry as needed commit to someone great asap. I waited too long don't be me.

No one truly understands the life, the sadness, the anguish, the loneliness of another. The truth is we are all truly alone. The truth is all we'll ever be is alone. Is it wrong to end loneliness?

It's a good thing that people are trying to help each other. But how would you know what's good for me better than myself. Your keeping us in this prison of suffering and anguish and torture called life.

Terry, I'm so glad you overcame the lies of the adversary of our soul. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. I know your husband is looking down from heaven so thankful you are here to sharing your story. God continually bless you and keep you.

hi. thanks for posting this. im watching this because my girlfriend in june 2010 killed herself by jumping off a building. ive been insane since. not trying to be dramatic or cute. 10 hospital visits later, i completely connected with her when she said about every day being just survival. eating and sleeping and everything feels like a job. she should be here. thanks for posting this. am i suicidal? yes. i never cut myself before she died. feel like cutting right now.

With all due respect (since I don't know you), I've got to say that you probably "would have known" if you had only bothered PAYING ATTENTION! There are almost ALWAYS signs before someone ends their life, but most people are just too wrapped up in themselves to notice the pain of those who they claim to care about. I am NOT trying to say this was your fault, and I'm sorry about your friend, but most people at risk of suicide really DO try to reach out for help before they lose the will to live.

@FullyArmedCitizen Hehe, thought of this myself. I think my issue is wanting to fix everything, but knowing damn well there is no way I can. Everything seems to have gone straight to hell, others suffering and all. But, my family is extremely fucking important, and will not do that.

Sometimes, I wish I could ditch this curse of intelligence, to be like one of those easily amused dumbfuck *popular kids* in high school, If I still had the chance to trade my intelligence for happiness I would gladly trade it, living in this loneliness is no better than being alive in a grave. Besides who could ever love a guy like me? Who could ever love a guy like me? Like me? Like me....
