Otis Redding and the Stax Records Band just came down from Heaven and entered that man and his band. Damn! I am such an Otis fan since I was a kid. This absolutely hits me.

These Dudes are actually Australian 😂 to further blow your minds and Hold Me Live from the forum, best audience participation in a long while

to answer your questions, other brother Sam Teskey plays guitar. The singer is Josh Teskey, and yes they have done Dock of the Bay cover. You will appreciate their live Hold Me at the forum. Awesome crowd participation

And naw he wasn't tired! Go watch them perform a show. That's just his voice. They have a lot of good music 🎶🎶

That man over performed. I guess it didn't fit into your square. His voice got scratchy. You said rap singer!
@StephanieDenham-d5e25 күн бұрын
I saw an interview where he said that he had finished two nights of sold out shows. He said he was tired and this opportunity came up. He said that his voice was not the best, but it turned out for the better.

@@Courtney-os4ho What? He always sounds like that. He might've been strained but it's not like he sounds like Bobby Caldwell when he's well rested. His voice pops and cracks when he's at 100%, that's the whole appeal goddangit. Like a quick sketch of a short, precious moment in time, using rather rough pen strokes out of the sheer necessity of acting fast, not overthinking, yet still capturing this fragile thing with all its intricacies. Not sure what your problem is. My life experience tells me it's somewhere in the cluster b ball park. 🙂

The first time I heard "Rain" I was at a friends house and it was playing in the background. I thought it was Otis Redding. I thought I knew all of Otis's music and this one slipped by. Good Lord, Otis has been reincarnated! in a white guy and an Australian at that. (Look up some old stuff with the full band in a small club on KZbin)

@ Oh yeah this video is what introduced me to them. The lead singer did an amazing harmonica solo. Listen to “Dreaming of a Christmas with you” to get you ready for the holiday spirit. The lead singer hits a note that will blow you away

That was great! I heard a bit of Ray Charles in there and I don't say that lightly. I've heard Crying Shame & Hold Me. Keep em' coming. Peace, love & happiness! ✌🏼🫶🏽👏🏼
