Gad the Seer was David's seer or mentioned in the Hebrew Bible and the writings of Jewish historian Josephus. He was one of the personal prophets of King David of Israel.
He is first mentioned in 1 Samuel 22:5, telling David to return from refuge in Moab to the forest of Hereth in the land of Judah.
The next biblical reference to Gad is 2 Samuel 24:11-13 (1 Chronicles 21:9-13) where, after David confesses his sin of taking a census of the people of Israel and Judah, God sends Gad to David to offer him a choice of three forms of punishment.
Gad is mentioned a final time in the Books of Samuel in 2 Samuel 24:18, coming to David and telling him to build an altar to God after God stops the plague that David had chosen as punishment. The place indicated by Gad for the altar is "in the threshing-floor of Araunah the Jebusite".
1 Chronicles 21:18-19 tells of an encounter Gad had with the angel of the Lord.
A tomb attributed to Gad is located at Halhul.

But I am standing on The Word of God which says I have authority over devils and we are commanded by Christ Jesus to drive/cast them out. Hi David, so far we do not, but David is mentioned in many of our books, The Book of the Bee, Book of Rolls, Cave of Treasures, Mysteries of Heaven and the Earth and the Kebra Nagast (which is a work in progress) The Kebra is most interesting as it shows that Solomon, son of David, had a son with the Queen of Sheba which he named David, who inherited the Kingdom of Israel and moved The Ark to Ethiopia. The Psalms in the bible support this as they have psalms credited to David after Psalm 72 which clearly states the Psalms of David, son of Jesse, have ended. All psalms after that are by the grandson of David who is also named David.

What would the rest of us do without you posting about David? Without a David we cannot hear the great voice of Christ from heaven how our spirits work. You are 90-99% inheritor of the kingdom of God which is our spirits looking out of our eyes. How I know that? The work you do for Christ. The Lord Jesus know you. more fun stories the bible is a gold mine for stories and parables. Jesus gives me childrens stories. they are so fun and perfect. one about the rhinoceros rapture. first He turned me into a weirdo pet prophet and gave me songs to call the animals, then childrens stories for the end times like an ivitation to the kids, Elijah and the ravens Elijah an old testament bible prophet prayed for no rain since God asked him to and it didnt rain but God took care of Elijah because Elijah loved and worked only for God. So people got hungry no corn to eat or water to drink. It was hard to live back then. They had to walk or ride donkeys when they went somewhere and drink from brooks and rivers like the animals. They didnt have water faucets they had pitchers to go get water and carry it all the way to the tent or house. So it dried up and got so hot and miserable the Lord God said Go somewhere else Elijah, go east young man to the brook and i will hide you there. And you can drink all you want, rest, talk to me, and i will send food to you by ravens. The birds will bring you dinner every night. Like the boxes come in the mail with food! So Elijah went to the brook, drank and drank from the cold water he was so thirsty, and he bathed in it, washed his clothes, he lay down and slept all night. In the morning a whole lot of squawking, screeching and noise woke him up and he thought there is a raven! Hot dog the Lord provides! let me get my slingshot and eat him for breakfast. And then he remembered ravens werent ok for him to eat. He wondered why did God tell me a raven would feed me? Doesnt that mean i will eat ravens? Like quails right? So Elijah put away the slingshot and looked around there was a leaf with meat, bread, manna from heaven, and sweet as honey angel food cakes. He said where did that come from? All he could see were some ravens and they were loudly squawking. The ravens? And the ravens were so loud and annoying he wanted to shoot them again. He yelled at them so they ignored him when he wanted lunch. The ravens said Elijah we were told to bring food twice a day if you were nice we would have brought lunch. The ravens said you were so silly if you shot us we wouldnt have brought you any more food so he apologised and sang with them Jehovah Jireh My provider His grace is sufficient for me Living water flows from thee Yaweh cares for me Brought me food Water too I had a bath Now i am renewed [1Ki 17:1-6 KJV] 1 And Elijah the Tishbite, [who was] of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, [As] the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that [is] before Jordan. 4 And it shall be, [that] thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there. 5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that [is] before Jordan. 6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.
