We love Don Julio’s Chips!! And the Salsa too! Oh man!! We first discovered both products around 3 years ago at the HEBs in Laredo my hometown. Now in Zapata,Tx, they now have the salsas and chips at Lowe’s (refrigerated or on the shelves) Congratulations Don Julio’s! Your chips and salsas are delicious! It’s a party in every bite! My first Julios chip was when I worked for Frito lay they sent me to Del Rio in 2002 and our little warehouse was next door to Julios restaurant and that’s the only good thing I can say about Frito Julios chips are amazing and every time I have a BBQ or any kind of gathering I buy extra so I can share the greatness of the chips with everyone who comes to eat and they always fall in lust with Julios chips ,salsa and the seasoning cuz I put that on everything!!!

Been there just for the chips! And ordered some bacon egg and cheese tacos on flour tortillas and they were Da Bomb! Drove all the way to Pharr Tx munching on these chips and salsa and an ice cold Coca-Cola! Come On Somebody!!! If y’all haven’t been there, you’re missing out! Every time I’m in Del Río Texas, that’s definitely one stop I have to make and stock up on my favorite chips! Now I’ve gotta try them Freakin’ Hot chips too! I just finished a cross country road trip with my wife and we randomly found Julio's while driving through Del Rio. I started reading about it as she drove and said we have to stop I really know what the deal is. Tasty chips and salsa for sure, the big big secret is love...and MSG.

YES! These chips are the only food I've ever seen that has more MSG than salt. Julio's salsas also have a ton of MSG and of course the first ingredient in their seasoning mix is....MSG. Obviously MSG really does make things delicious and it makes me wonder how well their products would sell if there was a global shortage of MSG.

The salsa in the glass jar on the shelf is nowhere near as good as the salsa in the plastic tub in the refrigerated section at the stores even if they have the same label. The chips are really good and even better with the cold salsa in the tub.

It's my understanding that the salsa on the room temp shelf has been heated and COOKED, whereas the refrigerated has not been heated and is made from fresh ingredients.

These are the best store bought chips in the world, that seasoning salt!!! Their refrigerated salsa is the best store bought salsa ever with the serrano flavor being my personal favorite!!! If you haven’t tried the extra hot chips make sure you have a cold drink handy, they will light you up! I love spicy and I tried them once and went back to the “regular” ! A friend from west Texas was visiting me in the Houston area about 10 years ago and we went to HEB and he grabbed a bag telling me how good they were, been eating them ever since!!! Loved the video!

The spice mix isn’t spicy like peppers, I’m from Chicago myself. I order 12 8oz bottles every 6 months or so and my older daughters usually steal one from the cabinet every time they come home. It’s not like any other season salt I’ve ever had but it definitely makes everything better. From eggs to steak, chicken to fish there’s zero I don’t use it on.
