We have been to Perini's a bunch of times. Every time we go to TX. Fabulous food, atmosphere & service. I bought the cookbook; absolute heaven!

We visit Perini Ranch every time we o to Abilene. Gotta get the rib eye with green chili hominy. You will leave full. The country atmosphere is wonderful. If you are lucky you may see some deer and turkey.

Kerry Murphy we went there and had a bad experience. Hair in the food dogs taking a shit tied to tables. Steaks were about the same as Texas Roadhouse at best. We dropped a lot of money for a shit storm. Asked to talk to the owner and he was traveling to the Mediterranean with his soon to be bride so I was told. If you eat there then you must have a taste for roughness. After my experience I would not eat a hard boiled egg from that place. Nasty. Noooooooooooooo

oh man am siting here in sweden and would love to travel to texas seems like heaven . all that i like big cars good people nice whether .good food and beer .and all amarican made cars v8 as standard and guns and jesus and country music .seems nice !

Chris Don’t go. Been there and done that. It ain’t worth what you pay. Steaks are average at best. We had hair in out food. Iced tea glasses were dirty as was the silverware. There was a piece of gum on my wife’s plate. Their steaks ain’t no better than Texas Roadhouse.

I love steakhouses , but they will only cook to medium or above as they have ground their own fresh meat. Is it still illegal to have medium rare burger ? just asking ?

I've got to visit this place...and I'll drive from California to do it...but my steak will be cooked medium, not medium-rare 😎 This is a great series, a good travelogue!

William Bagley I certainly hope you didn’t make the trip to eat at this place. If you haven’t don’t do it. My wife ordered her steak medium and had to send it back twice and the last time they burned it to a crisp. I found a hair in my salad. We made a day trip to go to this place and eat. I wish that I had the miles back on my car, my gasoline and time back. It is expensive basically for nothing.

We went there and will never go back. They seated us outside and there were dogs tied up taking a shit. The food came and had hair in it. The steaks were not that good. About the same as Texas Roadhouse. Just food at best. My wife ordered hers medium and it had to be sent back twice. People avoid this place. It is absolutely not worth the price and they are nasty on top of that. Noooooooooooooooo

You can get MUCH better food at Longhorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Outback, etc. Our food was TERRIBLE AWFUL. Our steaks were SO SALTY, we couldn’t eat them. Also, the side dishes are terrible. A little dish of tasteless tomato sauce with a SINGLE SLICE of zucchini in it. No kids’ menu either. The vegetable of the day was macaroni & cheese. I thought the server was joking. I told him, Mac & cheese isn’t a vegetable. It’s pasta. He just shrugged his shoulders. It’s very noisy & if you’re hearing impaired, that’s a problem. Also, the air conditioning is pathetic. SAVE YOUR MONEY. This place is all hype & salty horrible food.
