She screamed at the hanging meat because she was genuinely terrified of the cow's corpse which was real so they kept it in the movie.

The other remakes of this movie always had a comical undertone and was batshit crazy, but this one always took the cake for me as it stayed true to the Horror genre and remained dark themed throughout the entirety of the film and Ms. Biel never missed a beat as the fabulous final girl with her white cropped tank and frayed blue jeans.

This movie and Silence of the Lambs are made from a real guy Ed Gien from a long time ago that killed a couple ladies and was a grave robber that would use the skin for clothes and skulls for bowls and stuff... I think Psycho also came from that, the dead mom etc

The original is god awful it’s awful, never liked it it’s overrated load of garbage but this movie is brilliant just wish they’d extended the ending it seemed very rushed
