As someone who saw the TCM remake before the original movie itself, I have to give credit to Marcus Nispel's direction for its ultimate success. With that said, when it was announced that he was directing the Friday the 13th remake, I was excited, but that experience didn't turn out the same way for me, unfortunately.

I liked the 2003 remake. It was better then next generation, chainsaw 3D and the 2006 prequel and that garbage leatherface film that came out in September

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake isn’t bad but to be me the Original is best but Halloween 🎃 remake isn’t. The only remake I enjoy 😉 is the remake of the Friday the 13th 2009 movie 🍿 that too me is the best

im with you. the remake was done well. it was grimey and grundgy and scary. R Lee did steal the show and i enjoy rewatching this every few years or so. i saw 3d and wasnt impressed. never saw either prequel though. def will at some point, even if they are no good i need to just say i watched them and have my own opinion on them at some point.

I remember first watching this when I was 4 years old, and I was instantly hooked. I know the remake era is a bad time, but this movie was amazing. No comedic affect whatsoever. I like the details of the Hewitt family, and Thomas's outfit itself. My favorite slasher till this day.
