Great video. Actually listening to an audiobook written and narrated by Gunnar called Chain Saw Confidential. He said they put 3 inch soles on to make him 6ft7in in some scenes. He gives a very cool version of the making

I'm doing my own leatherface cosplay and I figured I'd let you know that big bad toy store has the official chainsaw replica from trick or treat studios for pre-order, it's basically like the saw you have but the body of the saw is screen accurate.

The Boots in that auction are not the screenused ones Gunnar stated that years after the film he found the boots which had mold in them so he though nothing of it and threw them away there where only one pare used in the film.

I’m dressing up as Leatherface for Halloween. I decided to piece a costume together between going to Goodwill, Thrift Store shopping, a couple hardware stores and Spirit Halloween. Here is my shopping list with estimated prices and locations where I got my gear. Note, it is a work in progress and will add more when I get more. -Bought Killing mask from spirit Halloween, paid $70. Modified mask by cutting fake mouth out, and hand stitched eyelashes that I got from swap meet for $1. The eyelashes where mangy so i think it added to the realism. -Welding Apron from Harbour Freight, I know it’s not completely movie accurate, however, it was cheaper than most alternatives and had a nice beige yellow leather hue to it. $15. -Goodwill run for pants, shirt and tie, note that the tie unfortunately does not have cloud pattern, but is a nice navy blue. $10 -old boots from a few years back. $? -Real poulan chainsaw, not an old chainsaw unfortunately, however, looks and sounds great, needed a little work. Paid $50 at a thrift store, and about $16 in parts and fuel, altogether for about $66. I am planning on buying hillbilly teeth and the wrist chain that he wears, hopefully it will look great for y’all

The apron did have a chain. You have to look very close in the shot where he hangs Pam on the hook. That’s the only time you see the chain on the apron

Are you able to wash the shirt after soaking it? Im afraid it will take the color out and i just want to get the smell of coffee out.

Well , the coffee odor should go away after awhile. I actually didn't notice any at all. If you have a clothesline, you could air dry it with naturally fresh air or put it in the dryer with a bounce sheet after it's hung dry

I used hot water and instant coffee. But it shouldn't matter... hot or cold.
