Marvel Comics really squandered CM. He WAS Superman. And from a CM fan, thank you for this series, True Believer.

Dr. Sivana? In a Marvel Captain Marvel story?

That philosophical discussion between Eon and Marvel really shows the author's limitations.

I always liked how Starlin used members of alien races from past Marvel stories as Thanos' soldiers. You'd need to consult the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe to identify them all (cripes, even the aliens that work with the Tinkerer in Spiderman!).

I think I’ve come up with an explanation as to why Thanos’s family was purple skinned in Thanos’s first appearance: Drax only knew information about Thanos and what he looked like, right? Therefore, it’s not that much of a stretch to think that Drax assumed that all of Titan’s people looked like Thanos.

Damn Captain Mar vell is really underrated despite some inconsistencies this was a great character story. Real shame he wasn’t in the MCU.

The needs of the many. outweighs the needs of the, few or the one. So Marvels going to do, what he has to do. to get the job done.

This is what made me so MAD of MCU Titan. How can an advance race like the Titan Eternals have problems w/food??

Amazing video it’s been months since we got an ambitious saga from Cosmic Comics really worth the wait 👌! Also I should start my own comic book channel since I called The Controller attacking Vision.

The "born of woman" line is from MacBeth. Thanos would be in good company with Shakespeare characters.

Quick question. Wasn’t Zo actually Zarek the Kree minister, not Ronan?
@Cosmic.Comics5 жыл бұрын
It was the two of them working together. If I remember correctly, Marvel's Zo powers came from Ronan.
@UmHmm3285 жыл бұрын
Of course I went back to your video ,The Supremor Saga (1969) - Captain Marvel Part 3, and around the 57:00 mark it’s ague as to where the Zo powers come from. But Zo and Ronan were definitely in cohoots.

I’m just gonna say it’s a great video but as to the comment that Rick Jones is brain Patterns could easily have been backed up on another system. Do you routinely back up your system? Lol Honestly most people practice the worst backup practises myself included, to expect a nihilist like Thanos to think of such things as back ups I think might be pushing it a bit LOL

The blatant Shazam references here are CRAZY! Savannah, Dr. Mind, the whole "trading places" using the Nega bands . . . Feels like a middle finger to DC Comics . . .

Kinda seems like Rick Jones' got all the zen stuff and Mar-Vell got all the new superpowers during his transformation. After he gets back to Earth doesn't the life Rick originally envisioned as happiness come knocking? And he signs the contract without thinking of Marvel knowing that he may die and being ok with it- that's pretty buddha. Was he in Captain's mind when Cap was in his own mind? Was the other Cap what Rick would have fought? Is that "his Thanos" too? Am I totally wrong about this? Sometimes it's hard to tell if they're in the another's head or just chilling in the neg zone staring at their watch. I mean every earth min here is like 5hrs there, that's brutal. To make a long point longer, it makes sense that Rick would have to defeat the "warrior" in him in order to have this new awareness. Rick was just a kid who wanted to play music and get girls. Then he maybe set off a domino effect that fucks up the universe killing countless. Or maybe fixing the universe saving countless. On more than one occasion if ya think about it! Maybe Rick had to give up this notion he was ever meant to be in the fight in the first place. He really is there with Marvel because of his own mistakes(the first one being with the gamma bomb). Then after being the catalyst to a rage monster on Earth Rick ditches being a hippie and has a new accidental life as the universe's most important nobody. It feels like the kinda mental dissonance that Marvel was made to confront and that he tried to convince the controller to forego. Maybe like Marvel who was being shown how fighting in the end isn't always the way no matter the WHY cause WHY isn't really real it's a conscious label we invent or..ohfuckit! I can never wrap my head around this taoist bullshit! And I'm not gonna try to decipher comic books that were written while high on acid! BUT it ends with Rick Jones one time Hulk sidekick, Captain America sidekick, Avengers sidekick, and Marvel sidekick washing his hands of it to play music for real and he gets the girl! Right? Am I crazy to find a connection?

All good. Got an episode coming up where Rick drops acid and it discusses his and Marvel's increasing mind-share.

1 of THEE MEAN REASON why I still call ⚡Shazam ⚡Captain Marvel!! In comparison DC is SUPERIOR 2 in handing their Capt Marvel than Marvel Comics does with Knee Capt Marvel

Marvel Comics doesn't deserve the name Marvel 😔 😪! The very name sake of their company & they can't write DECENT WORTH WHILE storylines 🤮 4 this guy!!
