I don't want to judge this video..but I agree with you that there are writers who like to play with words and review (to capture the general ideas of theories and philosophies)...and not knowing to understand them deeply and then explain them honestly...yes, I agree with you that there are those who really do that..and practice it. There is a lot in his books...but about this video..I don't know..because in reality I didn't scrutinize it well..so I can't judge it??? In general, I read a book called (Great Philosophies) by Pierre Ducasse, and I found it a history book for philosophy, but you don't get anything out of it...just a review of the superficial knowledge of philosophies. I am drowning in reviews and superficiality.. and I remember that I read other books, unfortunately, that tend to go in this direction.. Perhaps I can find a reason for this and attribute it to poor understanding..or weak expression..or cognitive laziness mixed with a love of bragging about knowledge.

You have only given an opinion & nothing else. This video is consistent with Plato's teaching according to Proclus' Commentary on Euclid. If you don't see the profundity then maybe your intepretation is limited to the prevailing theory of Platonic mathematics, which the speaker said descended from Speusippus & Xenocrates instead of Plato. "Let no one ignorant of geometry enter here" was not merely a metaphor.
