Someone needs to at least do a parody of Joe talking back to the voice in his earpiece that tells him what to say. we've seen glimpses of that in real life, where he will say the wrong word, and stop because he's being interrupted, then correct himself with a word that is similar, which means he miss-heard it the first time, and he'll say to the person (probably Jill), "excuse me." or "I'm sorry." and then say the correct word.
