Funfact! Most of the extras in the music video are Pledis Entertainmet Trainees, so Seventeen members and Pristin (now disbanded) members are in it. You should watch the live music show performance. Orange Caramel is truly a unique gem in the Kpop world. There's really no other group like them. They're actually a sub-group of AfterSchool, which has a completely different concept. And their music tends to have this unique almost traditional korean trot music sound to it and their music videos are alway these colorful weird concepts that makes you go "huh?". This is not even the wierdest one. You should see "Catallena".

Orange Caramel is sub-unit of After School. And their concept is quite unique - they fuse kpop sound with another Korean music genre called Trot. It is a little corny version of pop music inspired by old school sound and characteristic way of singing. Probably only older Koreans listen to it on daily basis. Orange caramel is a subgroup of after school. Which is kind of crazy to think about especially when you think of after school. It consists of lizzy, Reina, and Nana who were the newest members of the group around the time when this group was formed. They were also probably one of the most popular new subgirlgroups when they debuted. People loved their quirkiness. I could even confidently say orange caramel are concept queens. Because seriously once they pick one they definitely commit. Their debut song was magic girl which is fun and cute but their later release truly are great. My favorite would probably be lipstick but Catalina is close second.(check out the dance practice or live stages you wont be disappointed) Another thing so great about orange caramel is how easy to follow most of the choreo is. Granted. The group isnt everyone's cup of tea. But boy are they mine. It's a shame they're inactive now.
