So it wasn't a side hustle but I was trying a fence repair buissiness. And barely making it. Everytime I pray to see if I should look into a 9to5 I would get a fence job. Now I'm so busy with work it's crazy. God is great !!!!!!! He has proved to me that I am doing both what I enjoy and what God wants me to do. Meet many people using the gifts he has given me and to be a light house. And share his word.

I picked up scrapping to keep me off my duff. I had heart bypass surgery in 2014 and I have picked up hobbies to keep me moving. I have been binge watching your channel for the last few months, and within the last month or so it's taken hold. Lately though I had some health issues that have taken me off work for a time. My horde of copper wire was there to keep me from going completely insane. Between my faith and scrapping, all I have is what God puts in front of me. Thanks for the introduction.

I worked as a spare parts salesman at a forklift dealership, previous to that I worked for several years at a car parts store in Perth Western Australia. I started a side hustle, (using my experience in spare parts) to sell used car parts online, this ended up being far more profitable than the job I was doing. I was miserable in my job, so one day I just quit, that was 11 years ago. I went and rented a shop and expanded my business. I ran that business for a few years and saved enough money to make a down payment on a modest house in the country. I'm running the business to this day from home but instead of car parts it has morphed into Washing Machines and electronic spare parts. About 3 years ago I started another side hustle to compliment my spare parts business and that is selling refurbished washing machines as several people in town were asking me if I knew where to get good used machines, it was a niche I could fill. Oh, and of course there is the scrap metal hustle to keep me going when sales are slow. I love what I do. I can't imagine ever going back to a 9 to 5 job. The nature of employment is definitely changing as more and more people are finding ways to create their own incomes online through KZbin or E-commerce platforms etc.

@@suesmith5033 Hi Sue. Sorry for your loss. You could try selling your quilts on ebay and etsy. People like the quality of a homemade quilt vs. store bought/manufactured. Ebay is a good place to get your feet wet selling online. The process is pretty much menu driven and there are lots of tutorials on how to do things. You can set your prices by researching sold similar items on ebay. Don't list anything lower than what you're willing to accept for the item even if ebay suggests it. Also, don't cheat yourself on shipping charges. Better to make a guess that will cover the furthest distance you are willing to ship rather than trying to list a low shipping price. Good luck and God bless.

Hey bud. new sub here. Take it from me, someone with Degenerative Disc Disease, all that lifting wears you out eventually. I worked hard most my life until now, I can't hardly work at all. I am a reseller actually but have to live off opiates to manage the pain. PLEASE be careful. I was 40 when it got bad, i am 50 now. I used to love scrapping when I was young. Your channel poped up randomly among my other reselling videos I watch. I subbed because if your great personality and I love helping to support a fellow christian.

Hey there, yes my "normal job" which I grew to HATE was being a pastry chef. Circumstances changed and yes I went through some rough years and now I am looking after my parents in their old age and it is rewarding - I get a simple thank you for helping them (which was lacking in my old job) and I am doing better off financially, psychologically AND EMOTIONALLY - Praise God!!! AND - I wouldn't want to be anywhere else right now. Thank you Lord!!!

You would not believe how much fridge shelf and drawers cost on eBay. There is a fortune in your truck bed. But eBays a lot trouble and you gotta store em before there sold.

ShaneManTV sells all refrigerator and dishwasher parts on line. Makes a nice profit. Paul, I know that's not your thing though.
