That is a lot of kit they've got.. I joined the Ukrainian Legion and was in Ukraine between January and July 2023, and I've gotta say, I didn't see half that stuff, we had no artillery support during attacks, I think I saw 2 tanks in the entire time, no mortars support, we literally dropped munitions on important parts of the Orc trench, the guys guarding the entrance we wanted to use, the MG position ect ect and then we'd assault hell for leather throwing grenades as we went and it was pure nastiness until we took the position or left.. I remember myself and the only other Brit in my team asking, "Where is all that military aid? Where has all that money gone?" Because we were literally infantry assaulting infantry with a bit of 21st century help from the drone.. It obviously became clear later on, that it was all being stockpiled for the 2023 spring offensive, but at the time, we did wonder.. Obviously now it's being literally given out in spades and it's nice to see.

Watching this video makes me want to go over there and do what i was trained for.. i was actively trying to volunteer when shit first started then i lost my finger in a plumbing accident and it screwed up all my plans.. most people wont understand this, but i miss it..

So, the guys spoke exclusively in Ukrainian while sometimes I could hear Russian on the radio because they had enemy radios on the enemy's frequency and listened to them, this was both at the command point and in the field at the first trench they took where they made at least two enemy Kia and afterwards they talked to the enemy on the radio.
