My Da was the helicopter pilot who did the aerials for this. I mind him coming home when I was a wee lad and telling me about it, and what a fabulous time he'd had working with Jesse and the gang. It seemed unbelieveable then .. and it still is. Absolutely phenomenal work!

I Believe it was called the West Highlander back then, summer steam service ran by British Rail over the line from Fort William to Mallaig. The viaduct is the famous one at Glenfinnan. The 'Black Five 44767' and the summer service now called 'The Jacobite is still going. Would be interesting to hear the story there not a chance of anything like that happening again! Looks like they got wet at some point.
