Your choice of music is exquisite for this montage of the Thorn Birds Richard Chamberlain is so beautiful and handsome. He acts with his eyes and that rich voice. He played a perfect Father Ralph de Bricassart in a breath-taking manner. The on-screen chemistry between the child Meggie and the grown up Meggie is so emotionally charged - it makes me weep every time I watch it. Because of this video - I went out and bought the DVD and am watching it on repeat in my household. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. I am in love with this video.

I was fourteen in 1983 when this came out...just the perfect age to have my heart wrung thoroughly by the story. I sobbed for two solid hours after the closing credits. I'm obviously much older now, but I suspect if I watched it again, I would find it just as bittersweet, maybe more.
