It was awesome to stumble across this performance. This is one of those songs that always reminds me of my 70s era childhood. Something about it-when I hear it, it always takes me back to a flood of great memories. This song has a permanent spot on my 70s playlist.🔥👍🏼These ladies still look great and sound amazing.♥️👏🏼♥️👏🏼🥰

These were the most beautiful ladies in music in their day. I've had a huge crush on Sheila for fifty years now.
@gcmacyman4 жыл бұрын
They were huge internationally, very much embraced and adored. And they all were able t spotlight their vocals, and could all lead on different songs, that made them so special compared to other female groups.

I have to say that I follow music historically Country, Rock, and Motown; that being said I have never seen any women in that era as Insanely Beautiful as Valarie Holliday!! I just recently discovered the Three Degrees and I am always Smitten by Valerie!

I'm so glad that Japan embraced the girls as they did. I don't get to see much back in the day footage from the states where it isn't lip-synced. At least they showcased the girls talent and let them perform live. I think this version of Love Train is actually better than the one I listened to the other day from Live In London. Thank you!

Great group and lucky enough to interview them in their dressing room backstage in Stafford on one of their earliest visits in the UK. Much jealousy back in the newspaper office, but later found out I had been sent cos our female features editor wanted somebody who could describe their frocks, make-up and ask about their ideal man!

I love old school do-wop and 1960's choreography for women!! It was so much more feminine and alluring!! I like it a lot better than all of this exposed flesh in thongs and twerking. En Vogue did a beautiful job of bringing this back in the 90's!!!

An unfortunate remake
@me-lq7go4 жыл бұрын
This wasn't a 'remake'....it was part of the song list owned by Philly International, of which the Degrees and the Ojays were signed to. the Ojays also did a 'remake' of When will I see you again. Back in the day, it was not uncommon for a record house to have multiple acts covering certain songs.
