But in tournaments, there are no easy games and thinking there will be is actually a bigger problem. Also bringing together a team on the fly is a different ball game. These are good players and I think they proved that by showing it when it was needed. They need a system that naturally brings that out and not just under duress.

The England Manager, and the team returning home after the Euros deserve a huge applaud from England fans. Those of you crying the manager and some players down I say to you it's unfair. The truth is always the truth that Gareth Southgate has been the best England manager since taking over a broken England team from Steve McLaren. The FA is managed by wise personnel who has the justification to make a decision on the England Manager's future, but not the haters. Gareth Southgate and his backroom staff have done a good job by incorporating all cultures of this great nation into the national team which no other manager managed to do over years. Also, the style of play has changed tremendously for the best because of his wise managerial abilities. I strongly believe that the FA will maintain him as manager till the 2026 world cup. England heroes well home, and well done.

Success?!?!? How can this be a success?? Sky sports and the media are just as deluded as Southagte is. We played some of the worst football in the tournament and were 40 seconds from being knocked out against Slovakia. We have a manager that point blank refuses to drop big names and try someone else, Kane being one of them. If he was injured, then why play him.
